Casa Ollin is conveniently located, just 2 blocks from Santo Domingo church and a 15 minute walk to the Zocala. It is clean, safe and quiet. I would highly recommend booking a suite, rather than a regular room, which is somewhat cramped by comparison. The breakfasts are tasty and filling and, if you don't want a Mexican one, they will...

We've stayed at Casa Ollin four different times over the years. And love it each time all over again. What can I add to the comments below? This place is exceptional. I think it's the people who make it so: Jon and Judith and the entire staff. They take extremely good care of their guests in a way that is...

John and Judith have created a wonderful oasis with their magical B&B. Everything from the decor to the atmosphere is unique. From the delicious communal breakfasts encouraging delightful chats with other visitors and employees, to the fab roof terrace where you can watch the sun set over a glass of wine and a book. We visited over New Year and...

The owners are highly educated hosts, knowledgeable about local culture and eager to make your stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. Beautiful, clean rooms, decorated by artisans, with views of flowers, in the heart of the historic center of Oaxaca. A communal breakfast with outstanding food, where one could swap traveller's tips or be quiet. The owners arranged a...

My husband and I spent ten days in January 2016 at Casa Ollin. Jon and Judith, the owners, have made this charming B&B a place to feel at home and at ease in. The breakfasts are beautiful and delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms charming and well-appointed. The location is ideal. We went everywhere on foot --...

Everything about our experience at Casa Ollin was superlative. The room was very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The breakfasts were huge and featured delicious local dishes. Perhaps most important, the staff and owners went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. And, another great feature is the casa's proximity to the centre of town; you can walk anywhere...

Oaxaca is an amazing festive city in Mexico and if you want to put frosting on this cake, stay at the Casa Olin! The hotel is clean and beautifully decorated with Oaxacan crafts and decor and the view from our room was splendid with colorful bougamvilla and other attractive plants and trees. The location is very convenient- very close to...

We travelled to Oaxaca for five nights over the new years. Be advised that to get to Oaxaca from Sacramento is a test! Uber, ($22!!!), to SMF at 5 AM, then two stops and arrive in Oaxaca at 9 PM and lost two hours time, so 16 hour day. Rough. But the Ollin was great. Happy greeting and very nice...

A delightful stay. Wonderful facility centrally located in Oaxaca. What makes a place great, though, is its people, and this place has it! Every morning before breakfast we could hear the staff laughing and joking, obviously enjoying their work and each other's companionship. The owners joined in; the feeling of joy infected the place. The food was wonderful - a...

The location was in walking distance to everything...including Parque de Llano where I did Zumba every morning! Our room was beautiful and clean and the Mexican meals were wonderful each morning! I will miss Sophia's cooking and Lucas saying Buen Provecho to start each day!!! All and all, I would highly recommend this wonderful slice of heaven in Oaxaca!
