The Hotel Parador San Agustin has good points; it's clean and centrally located and the wifi is dependable. On the downside, the bed we had was very, very hard. The television had limited English channels, only TNT. The rooms are quite dark because most of them face the inside courtyard. The windows open to the courtyard and anyone walking by...

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard which is great for hanging out. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. It is centrally located and only a few blocks from the nice part of town. The downtown Oaxaca sites are all easily within walking distance. Our room happened to be by the street which was extremely loud. We...

This hotel has a great location but what makes it special is the ambience and the people that run the hotel. The workers are excellent. I will surely return. There are deals to be had in the breakfasters nothing to brag about but the service is excellent.

Stayed here for two nights. On the second day my lovely wife got hopelessly lost and was way overdue. The staff which was already a pleasure, switched into rescue mode. Gabriel took me all over town and helped me talk with medical crews and hospital personnel. He was great!. In the end she did make it home of her own...

We just returned from our 8 day honeymoon trip to Oaxaca city. We had booked the Marguerita Suite at this hotel. The hotel used to be an old house and it has a beautiful courtyard where the daily breakfast is served. Don't miss any of the choices of Continental, American or Mexican which is served with a generous plate of...

We spent 4 nights in Oaxaca and needed a hotel close to the zocolo as I'd just had surgery on my ankle. This hotel fit the bill on location and it was a very nice place to stay as well. Very clean, and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accomodate me, The restaurant was great and the...

We chose Parador San Agustín for it´s convenient location one block away from the Main Square, Cathedral and Park of the Lions. However we were pleasantly surprised by the intimacy of the rooms, which at one time were cloisters of the Augustinian order Convent. Later in time a military barrack and a warehouse, it has thick walls, wooden doors and...

Why? Because it's how you should live the experience. It's located in the historic center, you can enjoy everything at a walking distance. We paid cash and received free breakfast everyday (although it's served until 8 am). The amenities are acceptable, really is a place to sleep, take a shower, breakfast and hit the road. So for the price &...

I had the good fortune to stay at Hotel Parador San Augustin for 5 days during the heavily attended Guelagutza Festival in July. The hotel is centrally located, clean and original in design. I believe it is a converted 1700s house? There are only 18 or 19 rooms which surround a courtyard where you have breakfast. My room was large...

I am a girl traveling by myself but really I felt all safe in Oaxaca. I had two days in Oaxaca and I felt like home to stay in hotel Parador San Agustin. I like the architecture of the hotel so much, it's very beautiful, quiet at night and delicious breakfast, very good price too. Especially, I felt very warm-welcomed/treated...
