We choose this place after leaving another hotel nearby. I cant remember the name of the bad one, unfortunately, but this second option was very good and we vere satisfied. Rooms spacious, interesting design for bathrooms, good beds. nice breakfast. Staff we spoke to were vrey pleasant andwilling to help. I would gladly repeat. Sometimes a bit noisy due to...

I stayed at the San Domingo room and it's very dark. The only windows are facing the corridor and they are all screened for privacy so you can't see outside. There is skylight in the bathroom but also no window. It's like staying in a cellar. Good for 1 night for the experience but it was kinda depressing after the...

The rooms here each have individual names, and are located around a main courtyard like most hotels in Mexico. Our room was the first on the left on the ground floor. The rooms are lovely, with a comfortable bed, cushy arm chair and a desk. Television and ac worked fine. Decor is great, and we even got complimentary Oaxacan chocolate...

The staff at Hotel Casa Antigua was awesome. They were so responsive and answered all of our questions, called taxis, stored leftover food in their fridge, etc. The location is just a few blocks from the Zocolo and many other downtown destinations. The rooftop patio is awesome and provides a wonderful view of the city.

The hotel is distinctively Mexican which is something we really wanted on our trip and really enjoyed as it was our first taste of Oaxaca having arrived from mexico city. The receptionist had no English whatsoever & we have no Spanish so check in did involve a lot of hand gestures, however, he was very pleasant and patient with us...

We loved our hotel for all of the reasons listed by other reviews: location, service, cleanliness, and did I mention that it has a rooftop deck with a wonderful view of the city! Beer, spicy peanuts and a view....what a way to wrap up a busy day and segway into the evening.

Casa Antigua is perfectly located for getting to know the center of Oaxaca -- around the corner from the main pedestrian zone and contemporary art museum, 5 minutes walk from the Zocalo or Centro Cultural (different directions), 10 minutes walk from Rufino Tamayo museum and Basilica de la Soledad, and easy exit from the city for Monte Alban, Tule/Mixtla, and...

We stayed here a few weeks ago. We had three rooms. They were big and clean. I would recommend to request rooms away from the street. The balcony street level is nice but there is always some noise at night so if you are a light sleeper ask to stay away from the street. The breakfast was great. The people...

My husband and I had a fabulous time at the Antigua. Our room was so big and special. I loved sitting outside the room and just enjoying the decorations. The employees were friendly and helpful, especially Karen. The room was clean and the atmosphere just delightful. Fred and Sharon

We were very pleased with the location, the service was excellent: friendly, helpful and delightful staff, the hotel is clean and has character with a wonderful hall for eating in as well as roof top to relax and look over the city from. The food was delicious and we had a relaxing and delightful time there. Sofia and Alan
