Nice, smaller hotel with spacious rooms and great service. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride to town center but a very nice place to stay. Several restaurants are on cite and a delightful little gift shop is on the premises. Francisco was an excellent addition to the hotel staff and very helpful to us.
We stayed at Casa De Adobe for a week on our Honeymoon. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the rooms were large and the interior design was unique and comfortable. The shower was incredible. Then there is the exceptional staff... Our flight got in late and Karla made the effort to come in to check us into our room which was adorned with the towel swans on the bed and a bottle of champagne. The service was the best of any hotel I have ever stayed with... We cannot wait to come back and would not consider staying anywhere but Casa de Adobe. Thanks to the entire staff at this amazing gem of a hotel!!
I stayed at this hotel the weekend of my birthday along with my fiancé and daughter. We had a lot of trouble getting there due to unforeseen circumstances related to our travel arrangements and didn't make it there until 3 AM of the next day. The staff (Fernando, who speaks English) gave me a call to follow up and assured me they would do their best to help us feel better after our ordeal, and boy, they did that and more. The hotel is not located near the central part of the city, which meant it was very quite and away from the street noise. We drove to the center of town a few times and it took us 15-20 minutes each time, which was not bad at all and the quietness was very welcome. This is definitely a hotel I will be coming back to if I ever have the opportunity to. The room was ample and clean. There was plenty of space for our stuff in the neatest hand-painted drawer I've seen in a long time. There was a small safe, iron and portable ironing board, TV, a long table with drawers. On the other room there was a very nice couch that my daughter (age 7) liked so much she sleep on it one night. There was a small balcony overlooking the pool, on the inner-side of the hotel, not sure if there is an outside view. One of the walls was made to look as if it was made of adobe and carved on it was a hole where a mood light was placed, making it look ever so cozy. The bathroom was spacious and clean, hot water only took a few seconds to come out, which is always nice. The cleaning products were nice and provided to us daily, along with fresh towels and bathrobes. The staff was so gracious, accommodating our requests (nothing crazy) to the best of their abilities and making us feel very welcome. I tend to dislike when personnel fakes being polite, and the people who helped us were very sincere and made our experience a very good one. The pool and whirlpool were very nice, and although we only got to use it once, we had a great time. My daughter of course loved the latter and didn't want to leave. We had a few poolside drinks, as the bar is conveniently located right next to it, but not too close, which was perfect. Overall our stay at this hotel was a really good one and it was all thanks to the exceptional staff and the very nice rooms, which after all, is what we want and we found it here.…
I can't say enough about this wonderful beautiful remodeled hotel and it's exceptional hotel staff. We stayed for 6 nights on a last minute reservation. I had booked what "seemed" like a beautiful Airbnb home but in turn, it resulted to be a complete nightmare. At 10:45pm I was trying to desperately find a hotel that would accommodate my family of 5 and it was proving a hard feat because Guelaguetza was going on and all hotels were booked La Casa de Adobe had not even fully opened it doors, as they had some minor finishing touches but not only did they check us in at 12:30 am, one of their exceptional team members named Liliana, arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the terrible Airbnb home we were stranded in. Our experience was exceptional from the size of the rooms, to the amenities, to the food to the lovely pool. You will definitely feel valued and appreciated as a patron. Their service in all aspects exceeded our expectations. Everything was top notch, definitely a 5 Star experience that forever marked our hearts as they literally rescued our family and went out of their way to exceed every need we had.…
YOu might not expect a world class hotel in a relatively little traveled city like Oaxaca. So you would be as delighted as I was to find this real gem. The accommodations are all suites, complete with living rooms that would entertain a half a dozen guests easily, and bathrooms with enormous soaking tubs, showers and huge fluffy towels. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean. Everything I touched worked flawlessly. There were plenty of people around to assist guests with anything they might need or want. The dining room was open from early morning until late at night with a menu that was more than adequately large with local specialties, as well as foods my children were delighted to have, like cheese burgers with french fries. All the food was fresh, delicious and well prepared. Service was exemplary. There is a pool and a hot tub, views, a quiet neighborhood, and fresh breezes. Rooms have up to the minute airconditioning systems, and TV's with all the possible channels. The biggest surprise was the price--moderate. Low by USA standards. Medals were typically under $15 US dollars. Tips were actually appreciated and patrons thanked for them. When I acidentally left my camera on the breakfast table, a kind waiter actually followed me out of the elevated dining room and inquired when my room was located, and knocked on my door to return it to me. When it was raining and I had trouble with the lock on my car door in the adjacent parking lot, a hotel handyman appeared and covered me with a large umbrella and helped me with the lock, at eleven o'clock at night. It is a long time snce I have had a "perfect" stay at a hotel, but I did have one at Casa de Adobe.…
