This hotel Abu will ask you for your credit card and info for deposit, even we paid all the one night bill cash , they charge an unauthorized amount without my signature or approval, if you can choose other do it to prevent this practice, the service and rooms are not at the same level of their room rate, but...

We arrived at night. So at first the zone seemed a little iffy. Once inside the hotel, all the common areas look recently redone and really clean. What is a real shame is the size of the room. We actually joked at how a king size bed could fit there. In addition we didn't enjoy the sink being open into...

. Very modern hotel. Excellent service, includes breakfast with room fee. Although the rooms are quite small, they are very clean, the bed is very very comfortable. I stayed there with a group of 6 friends, and as it is located in the heart of Oaxaca, we had no problem in going in or out at any time of the...

Its perfectly centered in the heart of Oaxaca. Three blocks away from the main square (zocalo), two blocks away from the main church and a block away from the tourist walkway. The only thing I would complaint about this hotel are the rooms, they are very small if you're planning to be 3+ in the room. Continental breakfast is included,...

It's new. It's stylish. It's incredibly noisy and terribly small. Well located in the heart of Oaxaca, the biggest drawback about this property is the fact that they have vents on their doors which means every whisper, shout and greeting in the courtyard below gets amplified and hits your ear. Not to mention every door opening, closing or slamming shut....

We spent 7 nights at Hotel Abu which was selected by our host and based on some previous reviews were very pleasantly surprised at the quality and service. While the rooms are not huge, the beds are very comfortable, closet was very adequate and the bath had a good size shower. The breakfast buffet was always plentiful with fresh fruit,...

I usually suggest that before making a decision based on Trip Advisor, that one carefully read several reviews and make an educated decision. However, in this ONE case....there is no need to read any other review. The rooms are miniscule. They resemble the interior stateroom on an old cruise ship. The rooms have no character.....no Mexican charm. They are sterile....no...

I was here for Day of the Dead and it was close to a lot of the holiday activities and to the Zocalo. One of the biggest drawbacks was the noise. I expect a city to be noisy, but here the noise was coming from INSIDE the hotel. The first night, it sounded like someone was power-washing the lobby every...

Yes, in good location near downtown, but rooms extremely compact, including bathrooms/showers. Extremely noisy due to the structure of the building...can even hear guests arriving or departing. There is no hair dryer/iron/complimentary coffee, etc.. It lacks many complimentary items that other hotels in Oaxaca will automatically include during your stay...and yes, pricey too!! Definitely will not stay under this environment...

First of all welcome to be part of your choice, and therefore we give the following tip from our property: The Hotel ABU has insonorables windows and doors for your rest to be effective, you have hairdryer in rooms that are proportional to the size of the bed of your choice.

Hotel Abu is in a great location, the breakfast is delicious, and the hotel is kept very clean. The shampoo, hand cream, soap, and a small water bottle are complimentary - but a slightly larger water bottle with the number 30 printed on the cap is not free. The 30 on the cap indicates that it costs 30 pesos ($2.40)....
