The staff is friendly and they clean the hostel everyday. Also, the patio (with two hammocks) is very nice. Unfortunately, there are only two toilets available if you are in a dorm - and one of them has no top wall, so everyone can hear you.. Another unpleasant thing is, that -if you pay with hostelworld - they will not...

Great place to stay. Clean, safe, hot water, very close to the Zocalo, and great vibe. We arrived without reservations and luckily got a room. Better to book in advance. The prices are cheap and you can have a room for you and your couple.

I'll try to be as honest as possible: Upon arrival we liked this little hostel. This hostel has a nice patio, which is perfect for relaxing. The rooms are cheap and clean. There is a strict rule that after 10 pm no more loud talking etc is allowed, which helps for a good night's sleep. However, although the atmosphere among...

This person is using public space as a tool for personal vengeance. This costumer was asked to leave the hostel after he showed aggressive behavior toward our staff and toward the owner. We beleive respect is fondamental and that our work hosting travelers is honest.

Super clean, great facilities, very relaxed vibe, great staff, convenient location, good value. Can't go wrong with this one. Make sure that if you book via hostelworld/hostels.com, if you need to make changes to your reservation it must be 24 hours prior to arrival.

This is a great place to get away to, it's so relaxed, with a beautiful fountain and courtyard to laze your days away in. It's in a great location close to the centre and provides maps so you can easily see all the surrounding sites. It also helps you book tours which are quite cheap, I attended the Monte Albon...

The hostel was pleasent and clean, in a great location 5 minutes walk from the zocalo. The brothers running the hostel are great, willing to help, nice and very patient and full of smiles. The atmosphere was very good and the breakfast and facilities ae more than enough. There are dogs and cats that are very nice and touchy, and...

Centrally located hostel, great base to explore the city of Oaxaca and surrounds. Staff provide you with a detailed map of the city and are available to answer any questions. Kitchen is decent and the hostel provides fresh drinking water as well. Courtyard makes for a nice place to chill out, only drawback is all rooms face onto the central...

This place looks like it was made with love, but a long long time ago. They have rules written down everywhere which implies about the way they choose to communicate with travelers. The crew gives you a very tired look when you approach them if you need something and the two girls working there do not speak english It said...

Utter waste of time. Only hostel with availability over the Easter weekend, so obliged to stay. Staff were awful- they couldn't have known less about Oaxacca- they didn't know when/where any markets were, where to get a bus to anywhere from or anything that was happening over Easter weekend (as a result of which we missed everything). Staff were uninterested...
