Old fashioned, colonial style hotel, that despite being located on a busy street, has very little traffic noise that can be heard within the building. Nice covered central lobby area has several computers for use. Free breakfast is served in this lobby. My room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Place is simply no ac but a giant fan. Place is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good location and top deck has a good view of city. Near walking distance from historic district. Good for families and couples. No pool that I am aware off. Room has nice raised ceilings giving it a larger feel

I stayed at the Hotel Aitana in May 2016. The hotel is in a very beautiful building with stunning colonial architecture. There is a central courtyard where breakfast is served (included in the price). The rooms are tastefully appointed and have private bathrooms. I think we were fortunate to stay in what I think was the best room in the...

Hotel Aitana was the first place that we went to when we first arrived in Oaxaca City. It definitely made a good impression. The staff was very friendly, especially Raul at the breakfast buffet. He was very encouraging as we stumbled to communicate with the little Spanish that we knew. The breakfast buffet was very good. It was different every...

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Aitana in January, and found it clean, comfortable, convenient, and generally delightful. Hotel Aitana is in an old building of color and charm, an easy walk to the historic district - though the hotel is right on a busy street both the thickness of the walls and the location of the rooms...

We were really comfortable in this hotel. Our room was clean and warm with TV and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was large and had hot water. The buffet breakfast was generous and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Just a short 2 minute walk to the zocolo and a 15 minute drive to the ADO bus station. We...

This a nice hotel. As some have said the rooms could do with a little upgrading but for the price (850 pesos for a double room) I thought it was pretty good. The staff qas helpful, the breakfast was good, location is convenient. There is a roof terrace. It wasnt our first choice but we ended up staying here for...

One never really knows if a hotel will meet your expectations based on the posted reviews. Each individual has their own wishes and needs for the place they will be spending their time. The Hotel Aitana turned out to be a great fit for my wife and I during our eight night visit. We were wanting to stay somewhere that...

This place isn't fancy...it's very basic...but it worked out well for us as far as location AND price. The home made breakfast in the morning is divine! We enjoyed great service here and the place was kept very clean. Yes, the room DOES get a bit stuffy during the day..all you have to do is open a window toward the...

This hotel is very quaint and only a short walk from the centre of the old town. The courtyard in the middle is very cool. The rooms are a little dark but this is to be expected. There is no lift so ask for a ground floor room if stairs are an issue. The wifi was satisfactory. The rooms were...
