Quiet street, beautiful entry into shaded courtyard and quaint, cozy, darling one bedroom apartment for 2. Owners, William and Nora live on the premise and take meticulous care or the property. Nora gives cooking lessons in her lovely kitchen, Her class is filled with knowledge of the indigenous culture and their recipes. She begins the trip to the Merced Mercado...

My favorite aspect about Estancia de Valencia is Lorena. She is a beautiful and charming and fun. I just loved her! I would say the breakfasts were probably the best I have ever had in all of Mexico and I've traveled all over the country over many years. Fantastic coffee, comfortable beds, clean and immaculate space, beautiful space that mixes...

We reserved the entire house - 3 rooms - for our group. The entire house was beautifully decorated, each of the rooms had its own color scheme, and the garden terrace was lovely. Lorena could not have been a more gracious hostess, and answered our questions, helped us get taxis, etc, and made our trip easier and more fun. We...

From the very first moment we met Lorena, we felt welcomed and at home in her very historic and amazingly restored colonial home. The breakfasts were a wonderful combination of taste and color. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staying at Estancia de Valencia was just like having our very own home in Oaxaca! It is a gorgeous home with a wonderful kitchen, beautiful courtyard garden and stunning living areas. Our room, the Jade room, was very clean and comfortable, with a lovely little balcony overlooking the front courtyard. Lorena is a fantastic host and graciously welcomed us into...

Located in a relatively quiet neighborhood and yet within easy walking distance of the Zocalo, and other important sites and shopping areas in the Central District. Limited to 3 rooms on upper level, two rooms had a private balcony. Rooms adequately and tastefully furnished. Bathroom was clean but with limited hot water, sufficient for a quick shower. Nice inner courtyard...

B B Valencia was great with one minor issue that being water pressure. The hostess and food were outstanding. My wife and I were very pleased as was our guest from California. Estancia Valencia is close to everything but just far enough away from the nightly festivals. We would definitely recommend and stay there again

This B & B is a bit North of the main part of town, but an easy walking distance. (Be careful of the cracked sidewalks at night.) Very safe area. We saw a solo elderly woman walking slowly at 10:30pm. No problem. We had the whole house to ourselves for several nights. Wonderful breakfasts, different every morning. Just a really...

Our 10 days here was fabulous! Our room and private bath was spacious and our outdoor balcony was a nice touch. The Oaxacan breakfast was different every day and delicious! Be sure to try cafe chocolate! We enjoyed the open living space and an afternoon cocktail on the patio. Location is within walking distance of museums, restaurants and shopping.
