I stayed 2 nights in this hostel. When I checked in on 9th Apr, 2015, I was told that my booking was for the new wing right across the road. This new wing was very clean, quiet and huge! Everything about his hostel was perfect except for the kitchen which lacks the cooking utensils. The pots were with broken handles...

We stayed a few blocks from here and because of TA reviews went in to see it, asking to see a room. Desk attendant handed us a key to a room on 3rd floor. We were a little shocked at the room-seemed really run down compared to where we were staying at Casa San Ildefonso. It also seemed pretty noisy...

This is a classic youth hostel - huge & not much atmosphere but lots of tourist information and does the job. Breakfast was fine, nothing super special. Wifi was good but didn't quite reach our room. Hangout areas cool but mostly for watching movies, reading, wifi etc rather than partying. Kitchen fine, big fridge, bathrooms super clean and cleaning ladies...

Private room, shared bathroom. Basil 8 (apparently there are two) Spacious room with two double beds, for only 2 people. Clean. Breakfasts included. Friendly staff, perfect location in the historic center, nights were a bit chilly. We stayed on the 2nd floor, for the women bathrooms were on the same floor, men's showers and bathrooms were one floor down. Good...

Located very close to the Zocalo, yet priced very competitively. Also within walking distance of the metro. The rooms were basic and clean. Beds were comfy and the room was cleaned daily. I occupied a shared room & we had our own en-suite bathroom which was also clean. The breakfast was good value for money in that it is included...

Sure this is a beautiful building with clean facilities but the lack of common areas and the arranging of the common areas that exist makes this a difficult hostel to meet people and find new friends. Breakfast is pretty gross - coffee - couldn't drink it and eggs- couldn't eat them I would choose a different hostel as the location...

The hostel was nicely decorated and the staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfy. Located in the centro historico, several sights were within walking distance, ( muséo des belles artes, the cathedral, el sécretario de l'éducation where there are several fresques of Diego Rivera).

In light of the fact that I had not stayed in a hostel for 40 years this was a pleasant surprise for me. There was a wide range of ages during my stay. Excellent location near the Zocolo in a neighborhood where I felt relatively safe. The cathedral and metro are only a 5 minute walk. The rooms were clean...

I stayed at Mexico City Hostel Suites for nine nights in January. (Note that the Hostel is on one side of Brasil Street, and Hostel Suites is on the other side.) The location is excellent: one block from the Cathedral and two blocks from the Metro/subway (Zocalo station). This is where you want to be as a tourist, but it...
