We never actually arrived at HOTEL FAJA DE ORO. When we gave the taxi driver the name of the hotel he looked really worried. He kept asking us why we had selected THAT hotel. I told him it had good reviews on the internet. Finally he said "Look, it's really none of my business, but I've been driving cab in... More

It's close to airport. Well connected with local transport. Very well design, good customer service and real value for money. It has all basic amenities and services that you might require for overnight stay or quick stay.

It's surprisingly clean and economic. Lacked better wifi signal and better channels on tv. You also get secured taxi to wherever you wish to go. Sorprendente limpio y económico. Necesita mejor señal wifi y variedad de canales internacionales. Además taxi seguro para donde gustes ir. THANKS / GRACIAS.

Improved and under new management in 2016. Safe and secure. It was a sleeze hole back when, but they are doing a great job advertising and turning around their business. I stay there because it is close to the airport. It has neighborhood that looks forboding.

I just had a short night there before I went to the airport again. I arrived late and left early but I really think the hotel is nice and really cheap. I had a good time and the internet connection is fine. But the man in the reception did not speak any english and did not want to help me... More

I don't have any complaint about the hotel itself, is just the staff, we arrived around 1 am at the hotel and 2 days before we had called them to confirm my reservation and the time of my arriving and the girl told me that everything was okay, but SURPRISE, when we showed up at the hotel, the guy at... Big rooms with comfortable beds, and clean bathroom. Room service on offer, and 24/7 reception which was pleasant and helpful. We used the bag storage for the day before heading to the bus station in the evening which we felt safe to do. No issues. The room we got put into however (King suite) had a lot of building work... Scary location, pleasant surprise.. Booked this hotel at the last minute looking for an overnight, something close to the airport. It was surprisingly inexpensive so had no idea what was going to be. The hotel was in great shape, clean and very up to date. The HUGE problem this hotel has is the location! You don't want to walk one... More

I think this hotel is really intended for Mexicans, not international travelers. If you are coming from our going to TAPO at late/early hours, this is your best (only) choice. It's in a great location for that. Not for anything else. Upon arrival I pass a security guard at the entry with a rifle. Reception is behind a plate glass... More

Bottom line: decent, cheap choice if you are on your way to or from TAPO. Fast facts: - Cheap - Decent beds - Clean rooms - Room service, with beer, wine and booze - The food is bad! Really bad. I'm serious. But there is a time and a place. - Passable service - Sketchy location - Super close to... More
