While the location, price and breakfast are all good, do not stay here if you want any sleep at all. Rooms facing the street get all the noise from the Zocalo and the ones that face inwards are subject to window rattling base from the roof terrace from about 6pm-3am. Ear plugs don't help, neither does closing the windows. Staff...

Warning! An employee misused my visa-card while it was in the safety box in the reception. They still don't take responsibility for it. So never leave your valuables in their custody, they may be misused!

If you want to sleep at all don't stay here. If you want to party all night, probably a good choice. It's located on one of the busier streets in Mexico City and all you hear all day long into the evening is yelling, sirens etc. When night falls all you hear is the music from the rooftop bar. The...

Breakfast was very average, no laundry service, me and a friend staying in another room both had money stolen from our bags during the day when we were out.

I arrived at midnight at the shelter, and although it was during low season, the price was 195 MXP, quite expensive if you consider the supposed commodities. There's soap or either shampoo for taking a shower. No shared TV at living room. The rooms retain the original structure and design of an ancient Hotel. The buffet breakfast consist of 'quesadillas',...

This is one of the cheapest hostels I could find in Mexico DF so of course the rooms are basic. Ignore the fact that some of the ceilings have peeling plaster & the bedding is rather bobbly due to useage & washing, this place is a little gem. The hostel is very clean, there’s a pleasant courtyard. The beds are...

Great Location for getting around in the day, however it is in a very touristy part of mexico city and there is very little to do in the evening around the area. Hostel had great character and two free computers and wifi, Hearty breakfast everyday (as long as you like eggs) Overall would recommend this hostel!

Positive: Good breakfast, good location, helpful staff, strong box in room. Negative: Very basic rooms, poor cleanliness (roaches in room), rooms with window above the street are very noisy, elevator doesn't stop on the 1st floor, problems with hot water - needed constant assistance from the staff, hotel is noisy during most of the day. Although not expensive - surely...

This was the worst hostel we have ever stayed in, the only positive of it was the free internet. The loud music, people (which we later found out was one of the kitchen staff) yelling/screaming all through the night and then still carrying on at breakfast when she was meant to be cooking. The people behind the counter we not...
