I booked my room on Bookings for $MX 220 - that's about $US 12 and incredibly super cheap. For that I got a dive hotel room, fairly clean, shared bathroom in a very central location. My room was on the 4th floor and had a steel door, ratty sink and felt like a prison cell. Kinda depressing room, but you... More

I would highly recommend this hotel for its location and price. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There are several room types here, so I would recommend asking for one with windows as the ones without are dark. The hotel is clean and comfortable and it's right in the centre close to the shops and restaurants. We stayed here last... More

for the price, this would have to be one of the most centrally located hotels in all of mexico. 5 minute walk to the dead centre of centro meant you were right in the thick of it, ready to explore in what ever direction you see fit. we saw the reviews and some random pictures of the rooms, that stated... I took an offer from booking, and the price was really good taking into account the location (5 min walk to the Zócalo subway station) but the room was similar to a prision. Only a noisy bed and a Chair, a steel door and, literaly, only one toilet and one shower for, at least, 15 rooms that (according to the... More

Overall: good, clean, inexpensive hotel in a great location. Good for solo travelers or budget couples. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the location is fantastic, and the wifi works quite well. No frills here, just a nice safe place to rest at night. Only reason I have chosen to deduct a few points from my rating is... More

I have to say that the reviews were guiding me away from this hotel, but due to the timing of our trip there were few options in our price range. I was pleasantly surprised by the value and service provided by the hotel! It was inexpensive, very central and made our time in the city a great experience. Quaint and... More

It's a Mexican hotel. Cheap, in a great location by the zocalo. We stayed in a small room with a bed for two and a private bathroom and it was just fine. It was tiny, but the money we saved on a bigger room was better spent on the double decker bus tour. It had a TV and Internet, what... More

Yes, it's cheap (10-15 euros per night, shared bathroom) so do net expect anything better than an old, small room. If you are lucky you will also get a window (otherwise, only a very small opening). But cleanliness is ok, location is great (walking distance from the Zocalo, walking distance from two metro stops, walking distance from the metrobus for... More

I stayed in one of the tiny rooms at fourth floor. It's very clean and staff as very friendly. Even the internet works better than in many more expensive hotels I've stayed. Location is also great and not noisy.

“The budget rooms do not have windows to the street, but do have windows that open to spacious ventilation shafts (ours had a huge potted plant in it) that extend upward to the open sky and provide a draft of fresh air and some diffuse natural light.”
