My friend and I stayed here for four days in January and felt very happy and comfortable here. The staff was so helpful and accommodating and friendly. They had great recommendations and made us feel at home every day. The room we had was adequate. It was small but very comfortable and we had what we needed. If you like...

Close to everything in the Historical District and staffed with very helpful people. Even the cheapest room, which we had, is pleasant and adequate for a location where folks spent most of their time outside the hotel. The biggest liability was the lack of a chair in the room. However, there was an endless supply of bottled water, which is...

Used to be Holiday Inn when we visited years ago. The location is of course still amazing overlooking the Zocolo. Try to get a room with a view and do not let yourself fooled with the free upgrade to a junior suite with a Jacuzzi but no view. Very comfy feeling to the whole place with friendly, helpful staff.

We loved the location of this hotel and being so close to the action every night during our stay. The Zocalo square was closed off to cars for Christmas and New Year's festivities each night and the streets were packed with people, which felt lively, not unsafe in any way. The hotel is walking distance to many of the main...

Stayed here December 2015 with family. Excellent central location, great view over the square from the restaurant. Would recommend. Open top bus tour really near to hotel. Just would have liked to eat on the balcony but no children allowed.

I absolutely loved our stay at this quaint hotel. The hotel is housed in a refurbished building very close to the Zocalo (the main plaza). The metro station is about 6-7 minutes away and the airport is a 30-40 minute taxi ride away (considering traffic congestion). The rooms are beautifully furnished and are well equipped. The highlight of this hotel...

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at Zocalo Central. The staff were amazing. Special thanks to Alejandra and Eduardo for going out of their way to help organize a couple of our tours that were going to overlap. Our holiday would have been a lot more stressful without their help. Thank you both so much. We hope to return...

This was a great home-base for my first trip to Mexico City. It's very centrally located so all drivers (cabs, tours, etc) will know where you're staying just by name and is within walking distance of several metro stops. There are also tons of restaurants, shops and small pedestrian-only walkways in the area. The Mumedi design museum + cafe is...

If you want to be right in the city centre then this is the hotel for you. We got a good room for a great price and it's right on the corner of the cathedral and main square. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with recommendations, there is free wifi, a 24hour café and fabulous restaurant on the top...

There is no beating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Zocalo as Mexico City wakes up. This hotel is perfectly appointed with really lovely details like coolers full of bottled water on every floor and a coffee maker in every room. The staff, however, were the real stars. Everyone was incredibly helpful, particularly the concierge who helped us get bus...
