Hotel designed in 68 but concept is still very interesting. Colours, big corridors, water fountains. With pool and workout outside. Room and bathroom is big and comfortable. Breakfast was super tasty with wide choice of possibilities including local food and fresh fruits. Negative surprise was expensive WIFI not even free in lobby, which is ridiculous. I also rate negatively that...

We planned a trip to Mexico for 6 days, 5 nights. We decided to stay at Camino Real Polanco because our friends who we were traveling with booked rooms here. We arrived late night (around 1 AM) and were very tired from travel. We had booked two standard rooms, requesting adjoining rooms since we have two kids. This was not...

for approximately $150 USD I thought this place was fine. I thought having to pay for wifi was a bit ridiculous, though. They didn't even have free wifi in the common places. We had a first floor room which looked out onto the inner court. We swam in the pool and ate at the breakfast restaurant (which was not included...

Conveniently located in Polanco, the camino real is a México city classic. The rooms are due for an update and the hotel is big, it can take you a while to get from A to B inside the hotel, but they have a good amount of dining options which make up for the lack of restaurants within walking distance

I am frequently traveling into Mexico City on Business. I have stayed at the Polanco location 3 times now. Safe, great service, centrally located and easy to get into and out of. Many restaurants are located within the premises, but I prefer to dine in the many amazing eating spots located within a 10 minute walk of the hotel. Some...

Stayed at this hotel with my wife for 5 nights, first week of April. The building is spectacular, with the great fountain in the motor lobby and spacious seating areas in the lobby. I requested a quiet room, since I've stayed in the property before and was given a room that faces the street...big mistake...there is loud noise from traffic...

Camino Real is a unique hotel experience. Right next to the Chapultepec Park and close to Polanco and President Masaryk Avenue. The beautiful architecture design by Ricardo Legorreta in 1968 the hotel was open at the time of the Olympic Games Vibrant colors, a big inner garden and the massive water fount at the entrée give a singular signature to...

I stayed 5 nights in the hotel. The design is unique and artistic. The hotel was very busy during my stay and the staff was a little over worked. The first room allotted to me was facing the road. It was very noisy as the window was not well insulated. Managed to change to a quiet room facing an indoor...

I stayed at the Camino Real with two friends for two nights in February 2017. I have been a guest here many times before, and as usual we all felt the public spaces are the best part of the hotel. The pool and central garden are a quiet oasis in the middle of Mexico City, although the pool is largely...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
