This was the third time staying here, and we will return. It is predictable, great price for the location, no issues with accurterements or service, etc. Highly recommended for about 700 pesos a night for a double bed, one person. You can walk to the alameda, the zócalo, and most of the downtown sights in the heart of the centro...

We used this hotel cause we went to a concert in Mexico city. To be honest, i chose it because of its location, but never imagined the price/value relation it has. Rooms are extremely clean and it has what it takes to a comfortable stay. Location was very convenient since it is very close to Palacio de Bellas Artes, the...

After looking at reviews I found this place to be appealing from online reviews. This place is all show in the front. I paid for a king bed with breakfast. I got a queen bed and a waiter who is more concerned about his "Propina" than taking care of the customer. There is NO A/C, the streets are loud even...

After a few days in the mountain, it was both chaotic to return to Mexico City and nice to get to a soft bed and hot shower. This hotel is nothing fancy - a bit dated, in fact - but provides safe, clean, friendly lodging. The hotel is walking distanced to some fantastic attractions and restaurants. There is a nearby...

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights when I was on an organized tour. The rooms were nothing special, but clean and comfortable. No air conditioning, but you can open the window. There is free wifi, but you need to know your floor and side of the building you're on to connect to the best signal. The location...

This motel was just fine. Nothing really special, but the picture supplied makes it look like a dump and it's certainly not. A pic of the lobby would be better. Some rooms don't have windows but it was an overall pleasant stay.

I am on a trip around the world. I booked every hotel in every city based upon Trip Advisor – Hotel Metropol Zocolo, Mexico City is my final stop The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to the Zocolo and large parks. Curiously, this is the first place I have encountered where employees seem annoyed to have guests...

I really liked my stay here, the location is great, the price is ok, and the staff was extremely nice and polite. The bad... no air conditioner, although I can't put this as a complain because the weather was quite cold when i visited the city but maybe in a different weather it would be a problem. Besides from that...

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights, and added a fourth so we could spend one more day in MX city. The hotel is just fine. Clean, modern, comfortable beds, potable water spigot in the bathroom, ice in a refrigerated unit in the hall. It's a bit noisy. The window looks out into an air shaft, so there's...

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
