Reasonably centrally located but then so are a million other hotels in Mexico City. The rooms are pretty basic and wifi doesn't work. My room key reset itself every time I left the room. I complained, got no apology, and they refused to move me to another room. Their solution was that a bell boy accompany me every time so...

It was way over priced for what you get. Wifi does not work well. No bottled water available. Restaurant seemed overpriced. Location is convenient. Beds were a good size. Even though Remodeling was taking place it was quiet with no extra noise.

Certainly clean and with pleasant staff it definitely does the job but it's a little too pricey, lacks atmosphere and isn't really in the best location given the lack of supermarket/grocery stores and proliferation of hardware stores but is within a short walk of the metro. Probably a good choice for those on business.

Stayed 2 nights in March with a group of 34 consisting of older teenagers and adults. Room was very basic - 2 beds, tv, table, small bathroom with shower. No windows, except one that opened to a courtyard with no sky visibility and now view, just blank cement and other room windows. Clean, basic, and functional. The hotel bar was...

This hotel is located a block and a half away from the Alemeda. It is quite large and has good service. The buffet breakfast is not really worth the extra money. There are plenty of little restaurants near to the hotel to have breakfast. The rooms are clean and basic. The internet does not always work.

This is quite a large hotel, with 154 rooms. It is not quaint or charming by any means. But the rooms are large, the shower is excellent with lots of hot water, and the buffet breakfast is very good. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it. It is close to Alameda Park. It is convenient for visiting the excellent...

Very good hotel, well located in the historic area of Mexico City. At a walking distance from the Alameda and the Zocalo it is really a good choice ! The rooms are comfortable but a little bit old. The food is delicious,We had 4 dinners there as we stayed twice during our trip to Mexico in this hotel. Always fresh...

Our stay in this hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was professional and polite. It did, however, feel like a business hotel. The location was convenient and we walked to many of the downtown sights. I would have enjoyed the hotel more if the rooms had air conditioning and the staff were a...

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
