La Casona has been my favorite hotel in Mexico City for many years. I have stayed here more times than I can remember. I love this place for many reasons and here are the two most important. 1: The LOCATION is perfect, close to restaurants, Metro, main streets. 2. Excellent SERVICE by all the personnel, especially those in Reception and...

It's worth taking time to check out the collection of interesting pictures, furniture and objects en route to your room. No two rooms are the same. The bathrooms are a bit tired but the water is hot and there are dressing gowns. The service is helpful and friendly, but at around 3,000 pesos a night, the price is on the...

The hotel is simple, but in a great location in a not-so-busy area of Mexico city and it has a lot of character. Good boutique hotel, with an ok breakfast and friendly staff. The room has an interesting layout, it gives you a feel of the 70s. I would go back there.

Stayed at this hotel at the suggestion of a friend and it was a great place at a great rate. This is old school hospitality. This is not a mega-chain, soulless hotel. It is a unique and charming hotel that is centrally located. The building itself is amazing and they have decorated it in what their website describes as "Porfirian...

Hotel La Casona is nicely located in a quiet, tree-lined section of Condesa. I traveled to Mexico City with girlfriends, and we felt quite safe in this area. Expectations, however, should certainly be managed. I would not describe the hotel as a boutique hotel (as described in other reviews), per se. It is a converted home, which could be charming,...

It's an old place so thin walls are understandable. Above my room though there was a water pump or something running every 15 seconds. The lights would dim then clunk clunk went the pipes. All day, all night. It's quaint and charming but the noise was unbearable.

This is a wonderful, quirky hotel in one of the most interesting districts of Mexico City. The rooms are beautifully decorated with interesting wooden furniture and trompe l'oeil features and the corridors are adorned with Mexican art and European antiques. The fabulous tiles in my bathroom were another pleasing feature. The atmosphere at the hotel is homely and cosy and...

We stayed at La Casona during our stopover in Mexico City. We felt right at home at this small, Swiss boutique hotel. The location is perfect and the property has a lot of charme. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and truly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend it for both leisure and business travellers.

Hotel La Casona is a wonderful option to the modern, sleek skyscraper modern options in this big city. Walking in and out of this place into the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods makes you feel at home and relaxed. Plenty of restaurant options around and interesting shops and galleries including the prestigious Palacio de Hierro just one block away. The building...

The staff here are so sweet and speak English well. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are quiet and spacious. The location is next to plaza de armas. The hotel arranged airport pick up for us for free and offered a small kitchenette with complimentary tea. Only downfalls were that breakfast costs extra, there were no windows in our room...
