This Posada is absolutely incredible and the Senora Pita is a delight. There are various rooms/apartments to choose from (one even has a fire place) and they all have their own bathrooms! This Posada is spotless and the breakfast that is provided is not only fresh and delicious but, it never gets tired every morning there is a new dish...

Guanajuato is the most beautiful city that I have visited, and this home of Pita nicely matches with intricate decoration to every corner of the house.Built on a slope like many other houses here, it expands vertically than horizontally. Pita is very nice and she makes you feel at home. It is just behind Teatro Principal where we attended a...

This review is long overdue. My husband and I went to La Casa De Pita during the Cervantino Festival and Day of the Dead in October/November. The room we stayed in when we first got there was the first room to the right upon entering the house/buidling and it had a kitchen, a bathroom (the vanity and sink was separate...

Pita welcomes you into her home. Her castle, I mean casa, consists of rooms in a multi-level home that take you up to the sky level, with a memorable view of Guanajuato. Each room is decorated differently and with care, all lovely and individual. The kitchen and dining room at the main level are full of "objets d'arts" that Pita...

We stayed at Casa de Pita for 10 days and had a wonderful time. We stayed here last year as well for 2 weeks. Pita is a very good hostess and she is very good at helping us with our Spanish. This year we got to meet her granddaughters who are just as wonderful as her. The breakfasts are traditional...

Casa de Pita is like a mini version of Guanajuato itself - vibrant and colorful, friendly, full of interesting things and people. It is one of my favorite places to stay in the entire world, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Guanajuato. The guest house itself is beautiful, great care has been put into creating unique rooms. There...

It's an authentic colonial house. I had my own apartment with kitchen and separate entrance. A cozy place full of antiques and lovely decorations. Breakfast is freshly prepared by the great cook and enjoyed with the owner who is a very lively and charming lady. Great way to start off the day.

Few weeks ago, a friend from Taiwan decided to visit me in Guadalajara. Because he was here for several weeks, I recommend him to visit Guanajuato, and of course, to be hosted at Casa de Pita. I was there 2 years ago, and I loved it. Also, I thought that it was pretty convinient because he would travel alone and...

My mom and I stayed here for one night in late December. I wish we had had room in our itinerary to spend another night. I booked our room very last minute through email with Pita. She was very quick in responding and offered us the Mexiamora bedroom for 450 pesos (less than $40). It was a very cosy and...

It was a real plasure to share my visit into a beautiful city with the hospitality that Pita gave to all their guests. She can make you fell as in home. The rooms are pretty, with comfortable, clean and calid atmosphere. The breakfast is always a surprise, with tipical food. And the best of all, the location could not be...
