We stay here more visits to the GTO capital city. This place is a bit pricey but when you consider that parking is included I feel it is worth it. Nice city views and great breakfast. Rooms are super clean and the staff is helpful and most speak English. Cash only gets you a discount.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming city. The hotel's location is in the historic center and perfect for walking around the city. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are clean and our room, La Paloma, had an oversized bathtub and balcony. Be sure to ask for Raul Torres for a walking tour. He can show you... More

I do not at all understand where the good reviews come from. Though the general quality is ok, the room we stayed in was too dark, and the bed way too hard. Also wifi connection in the room was poor. Breakfast really was a joke. Good location, staff is friendly (though no personal attention is to be expected), but paying... More

We were a walking distance to the Mercado Hidalgo, the Alhondiga, and a wonderful beautiful relaxing park called "Jardin Reforma." We spent wonderful afternoons there watching people feeding the birds. Breakfast was included with fresh fruit, coffee, and pan. If you are still hungry, you can buy additional very good food. Room "Los Jilgueros" has no common walls with any... More

We booked this hotel based on all the great reviews. We would agree that it is a quaint hotel in a good location, and that the staff is very helpful, and the view of the city is wonderful. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin ( we might as well have been sharing a room with the people across the hall).... More

My family of 3 (wife, husband, 8-year-old) stayed here for 4 nights on our first trip to Guanajuato. It's a charming little place in a great location. We stayed in the Garzas room, which was a fun set of winding stone staircases down from the lobby. Outside our door was a nice little atrium with a seating area. The hotel... More

Beautiful hotel located within an easy walk of the central city. Charming rooms, very nice shower area. Multilevel so steps may be a concern but the flow of the hall ways and the comfortable breakfast area more than make up for the slight inconvenience of climbing a few stairs. Fun town, colorful houses, great views all add to the ambiance... More

This hotel has amazing character! It is very old but remodeled into unique and comfy rooms. The breakfast is served in a restaurant on the bottom level and was included in our room. It was fresh fruit, toast, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel sits up the hill from the historic downtown and the view of the city... More

We stayed here in early April in the Cardinales room. The room was great for a family, with two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom with a jetted tub. We also had a private patio with a back view of two churches. The room was elegant, comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel is down the street from Diego Rivera's house... More

Hotel is even more than we expected. Large rooms with great appointments, beams, ancient stone walls, very good bathroom, and nice and helpful staff. Large, well working shower.
