The room was amazing. Super comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Balcony with huge doors that actually opened onto Plaza de la Paz. Great views. Very quite at night when windows and shutters closed. Nice big towels...good amenities. Very good breakfast in the morning. Service impeccable. Four stars because of warm water in the shower. I like it hot......but really, this is...

We had a very nice clean and comfortable room and breakfast selection was good. It is rated only three stars because we had no hot water the two nights we were there and there was a lot of noise from street. Also, the weather was quite cold the three days we were there and there was no heat in the...

There are a few rooms off the main floor but most are up some quite steep stairs. No elevator. Our Junior suite was half-way up the stairs. A really huge space with two beds in one room with a lot of places to hang cothes and a middle room with table & chairs, sofa, mini-fridge, sink & microwave. Erratic water...

We spent four nights at Casona Don Lucas a week ago. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The central location could not have been better. Even though our window opened up to a busy main street in town, the room was still quiet at night. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations and included a good selection of American and...

Best location in the whole city, directly in front of the Palacio Legislativo, you are within walking distance to everything and it is in the most visible and safest place in town. Huge bedrooms, clean modern bathrooms, gigantic king sized beds. Our toom, #4, was quiet and had a loft with 2 additional queen size beds. Keep in mind there...

The hotel is right there in the middle of everything and so convenient. If you're walking around all day you might pass it a time or two depending on which way you go, so it's convenient to pop in and out on your way from, say, the Teatro to the mercado. The loft style rooms are large and cleverly furnished....

Stayed here with a friend for three days. I had the LARGE ground floor room: quiet and no stairs (as requested). My friend had a dual-level room facing the Plaza de la Paz and had no noise problems. The hotel had been recently redecorated so everything was spic and span. Great cable TV and wifi. Rooms were cleaned early which...

Enjoying the house with history. The rooms have bed on lower level, with two queen upstairs. The architecture is beautiful. The hotel has been open for four years. We enjoyed the location. There is a lot to see from the hotel within walking distance. No taxi necessary.

The hotel that we were staying at offered free breakfast at this location, and I have to say that I was quite impressed!! At first, I sighed when looking at the 'Continental Breakfast', because in America that usually just means an underripe piece of fruit and a box of Cheerios. But here, they actually had a really good selection- the...

You couldn't ask for a more centrally located hotel in Guanajuato. Just steps from the Basilica, the main plaza and the teatro. This is an old Casona (large house) so each room is unique. Several have a second level with twin beds in addition to the king bed in the main part of the room. Depending on what is going...
