Stayed here last year and loved it. So sad to receive an e-mail from the owners announcing they have decided to close the hotel effective May 31 this year. Hopefully someone will take it over because it is in a beautiful location overlooking the town.

Hi leslie! The pool was small but not tiny, about 4x10 metres i would estimate. Casa estrella is really quiet yes. Plus from the location you have a great sight on the city centre. I think i still have some photos i could post. Both cities are great but i would recommend to spend more days in guanajuato over san miguel. If you have six days you could split it evenly: 3/3 or you could stay 4 over 2 in guanajuato. I would recommend taking a city tour. Joskua viajes could arrange something for you. They helped us magnificently :) good luck and enjoy!
