Booked this hotel online through booking.com and didn't receive what I paid for. Booked a king size bed and received a full size bed. Hotel it outdated, but made to look nice. Had a layover in Guadalajara so the stay wasn't no more than 6hrs, just place to lay my head. I will say that there is exceptional customer service...

We ended up here after Hurricaine Odile 2014 in Cabo San Lucas. We were flown out by he Mexican military and not having any choice ended up in Guadalajara. The first hotel we looked at opposite the airport looked seedy and dangerous! Bearing in mind what we'd just been through for 4 days as refugees, we were delighted with this...

This past week we had just a wonderful experience with the hotel and its staff and management. Their professionalism, caring and customer service, rite from the moment we arrived by all their staff. It truly was exceptional, until we left. Highly recommended.

For us, this was a very good choice, as an overnighter, before going to airport. Adequate in every way, comfortable. TV worked great, restaurant was very good, sorry didn't get to eat breakfast there. Shuttle was at our service for the airport. I was paying attention to the street noise, since I read about it in other reviews. We were...

They pick you at the airport, but need to do arrangements 12 hours in advance. Good size rooms, TV was not working properly and safe was locked. Best thing is maids at the hotel and good service at the restaurant, breakfast was great!

Breakfast in the dining room was great - and brilliant that it was included each day. I found the cleanliness in the rooms to be comparable to 5 star places I've stayed in. The reception staff were friendly - only slight downside for English speakers is that about 50% of the staff only spoke Spanish, but they were patient with...

The rooms were good sized and recently updated, quite stylish decor. In room security safe, satilite TV with english stations available, but no HBO or Showtime. Every floor had wireless access and there were computers available in the business center. Pool and workout room access are included. Onsite bar and restaurant with good drinks and average food. Staff is friendly,...

If you're going to be visiting Guadalajara make sure to stay away from the overpriced downtown area hotels. Most are old, smelly, and not very good areas to be during the evening hours. Howard Johnsons is located on Lazaro Cardenas and has free parking, free wireless internet, swimming pool, free cocktail for two, plus free continental breakfast until 12 noon....

Beware of booking this hotel through a reservation service which requires a payment up front. We booked two rooms for 5 nights at the end of December. When we checked in we were told that they had not received any payment from the on-line booking service. I checked several times during the stay - still no payment had come through....
