Amazing! Everything is wonderful in this hotel. The hotel has a stunning view, the food is delicious, the service was perfect. Special thanks to Jesus Ortega the waiter who helped us so much with everything. The kind waiter Fernando Espana thank you. And Jesus Bellboy, Jose Luis thank you all so much. U made our stay really great 100%! Greeting Tamara & Marie
I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay due in large part to the thoroughly friendly and professional staff. They collectively were always on hand to answer any questions or help in any manner. It’s interesting to note how well the staff gets along and the number of years they have served this clean, modern hotel. The management staff is also up to par! Needless to say, one feels you are among family and friends with a few hours. The hotel manages all this within the constraints of language challenges, outside construction as the city of Guadalajara grows and improves all through out. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
We arrived by taxi and liked the location and look of the hotel. As there were many attractions that weekend we had a room in the tower. Very nice but small and had noisy street view. Fortunately they relocated us to a ground floor room by the pool the next day and that room was a suite for $20.00 more per night. Huge room beautiful appointments and location.
The hotel is well located near to one mall and restaurants, the breakfast buffet is very good and no expensive, on weekends have a nice musician with violin the service is good. The rooms are good enough with old decoration.
Everything was going great until I made my first call from my room the first night asking for extra pillows. My husband and I arrived late from our flight and were exhausted. I called and asked for 2 pillows for me and one for my husband and their response was: I can only give you 2 pillows. I asked why (assuming the hotel was booked full) but his simple response was "cause you already have some" I just didn't want to argue on my first night there and was exhausted from my flight so I just said, "ok thanks". Second issue came when on day 2 I approached the reception and asked if there was any rooms available with a king bed that my husband and I cold change to (of course I would pay extra if needed) and I was told to check back in 2 days because people were going to check out that day but they were "holding" the possibility of extending their stay. I understood and checked back 2 days later.... When I went back to check there was a different person at the counter. I told her what was told to me and she seemed to be completely oblivious about what I was telling her. She said to check in 2 days. This time I asked to make some notes and I waited there to see her do it. She did. INTERNET IS AN ISSUE. If you need WiFi for your trip, this is not a good place to stay. I called 3 nights in a row. asking for help. their internet wasn't working. All three nights they told me the same thing. I'll pass down the report. finally the 4ht night was enough. I couldn't work. I went to the desk to complain. I could not believe the response I got. The guy told me It was my equipment that was not working. He blamed me. That was the cherry on top. I had 2 $5,000 computers and my husband and I both know IT and programing we know how computers work... I explained that the WiFi only works in the mornings and not at nights. There's nothing I could do to make him change his idea of blaming my phones and laptops. This is completely unacceptable. Nothing is ever their fault.. Light in the hotel went out. Guess what, wasn't their fault. I asked how long will it be until its back?- they don't know... It wasn't caused by the hotel.. Internet not working? Oh maybe there is too many people on it. try again later.. See the place is nice and clean but with customer service this place looses 2 stars for me. The only reason I kept 3 is because it was clean and nice. But customer service needs to improve in order for me to go back there...…
