Posada Michel is near the center of Zihuatanejo. Close to the beach, restaurants, nightlife, and shopping. The rooms are very basic. Beds, TV with cable, nightstand, and air conditioning. Air conditioning is an extra 50 pesos a night. The ceiling fans were enough to keep us comfortable. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. Warning: they speak practically no English. The... More

Okay do you want to stay in a room all day or hang out on the beach and explore the area? If you want to stay in your room all day, this probably isn't for you. The air condition runs from 9:00pm to 9:00am. Room 201 has many windows and a ceiling fan that kicks butt which made it comfortable... More

Shambolically run, musty rooms, ramshackle bathrooms, loud and lurid decor. On the plus side, it's cheap and central.
