Casa Iguana was small, beautifully designed and had great amenities such as a private outdoor patio and outdoor kitchen in a lovely garden setting., It was only a minute or two walk to the beach so you could come and go easily throughout the day. But what stands out the most was when my daughter had a dental emergency. Joel,...

We have stayed at several places in Zihuat, and this was by far our favorite! While not directly on the beach (a very short walk), we could not have enjoyed it more. Actually - it was nice to be able to get away from the beach activity for some wonderful peace and quiet. Joel, the owner, could not have been...

Casa Iguana is one of those gems you rarely find and never forget. Upon first stepping through the private entrance you're immediately struck by the comfortable lushness of the landscaping and the old-world charm of the architecture. Its courtyard is at once familiar and inviting, like an old friend welcoming you home. As a boutique hotel there are a limited...

We swarmed down to Zihuatenejo for a friends wedding. !/2 off us filled Casa Iguana, the other 1/2 in a different hotel. Hands down, by far, Casa Iguana, a boutique hotel, offers the best in the area. This is an all suite hotel, with outdoor kitchen and patio, set in a green, lush, quiet yard, behind a locked gate. Large...

Casa Iguana is amazing. I booked the entire hotel for my husband's 50th birthday party. We had a large group of people from all over the world come and visit, and everybody was completely charmed by Joel, Chanel, Lisa and the entire staff. They helped us with recommendations for the birthday party (La Perla), my best friends wedding (Bistro del...

Casa Iguana is the best kept secret in Zihua. Very quiet with small bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The outdoor kitchens and dining areas are just perfect for hanging out in after a day at the beach. Joel keeps it simple and the price is very reasonable. Very clean and tidy. We loved it.

We are on our way back to the Casa this month; my in-laws are there for their fourth stay. It has everything they need for a month at the beach, and we are lucky enough to get to join them for a week. No pool, but the ocean is two minutes away. The owner, Joel, is so gracious, and brought...

Returned from a wonderful trip at Casa Iguana on La Ropa Beach. Hotel only has 6 suites, in which the 6th is the only one on a second level. That was ours. All suites had a terrace with fully stocked kitchen. Bathroom was very large, as was the entire room. Not directly on the beach, but literally a 2 minute...
