This was our second (or maybe third) stay at the Irma. We agree with a lot of the reviews here on TA regarding rooms, service and location. We tend to alternate staying here and at the Villa Mexicana as I've reported before. We again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked through Orbitz and with the 20% coupon they offered we...

This is a quaint hotel located in the bay of Zihuantanenjo . From the time you enter the entrance of the hotel you will find the most warm staff to meet your every need. You will find the rooms extremely clean. There are two pools located on the Oceanside you will find no swim of bars and no whistles blowing....

This was our first stay at the Hotel Irma. The hotel is located walking distance to Zihua and is on a steep hill. If you're a walker (like I am) the hill isn't a problem but for some it can be a challenge. If it's frills you're looking for this isn't the place for you. There are six floors and...

The first impression of the lobby was it was under lit, but that was good for the many patrons checking their devices with the free WIIFI that worked best in this area. The sofa lounger was comfortable but being white in colour it looked like it needed a good steam cleaning. The Naranja restaurant was pleasantly decorated and the staff...

We enjoyed staying at the Irma (pronounced EAR-ma). The rooms were very clean and the air conditioner kept the room nice and cool. We didn't spend much time in our room, but why would you when you're vacationing in paradise? Pros of the Irma: The pools were never crowded, and we never had a problem finding a spot. The view...

Nice hotel. Great views of the beach and sunsets, with a quiet, older adult clientèle. The two pools were great to relax. There is free to use hotel towels for the beach and pool. Our rooms were clean and always had a decorative towel/flower arrangement made. Our first room was a deluxe ocean view but not! There was no balcony...

Good value for the price. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Older hotel and plumbing was a problem with several instances of no water / no water pressure. But was usually fixed within very short time, so it never caused any serious problem. Glad we were young enough and in shape to climb the six flights of stairs several times a day,...

Great hotel, much better than we had even expected. All the same information as other reriviews below. Very steep climbs indeed. I would suggest to the hotel to add coffee makers and fridges to the rooms. As it is such a "climb", it would be fabulous to be able to make coffee in the morning and also keep cold drinks...

I've stayed at Hotel Irma three times and, although it's a good value for the money, it just isn't quite what it used to be. There were several days where pipes were breaking, no hot water, our ocean view rooms we had reserved were not available when we arrived, etc. There have been many rooms added over the years but...
