We had the street tacos and were overly satisfied with how they tasted. Our server Lindsey made sure our experience was wonderful. I can't wait to come back to the area. Hopefully we have the same waitress

In addition to seconding the rave reviews given by other travelers, four observations: 1. While you can't really find a more beautiful site for a hotel, and while the rooms are gorgeous, what makes La Casa Que Canta such an amazing place are the people. Every staff member with

Enough has been said about this place. It is gorgeous!! We heard the town of Zihuatanejo has a few really good places to eat, but personally we never made it off the property, except a couple of day time excursions down to La Ropa Beach. This is a place you go to to kick off

I am so annoyed with the histrionic attitude toward Mexico and in particular Zihuatanejo in the Guerero state. We are here for the third time and the place was always a ten but they have upped their service and food, service and food that I didn't think could be improved. To

Dear Linda M Thank you Linda for your wonderful comments and your concern about LCQC. The events people may have heard lately have not been happening here. The people of Zihuatanejo have always been dedicated to tourism and thus are very hospitable and respectful. We assure you that if you decide to visit us you’ll find a very peaceful place where you’ll spend an unforgettable vacation. Respectfully, Teresa Arellano Management Committee

In no way was that a political statement....since when is basic safety political? And I don't remember the last time someone innocent was kidnapped and killed in Chicago, where I travel frequently, or an illegal roadblock set up or that the police are not in control. Bottom line is that if you or your employer decides that you cannot go to Zihuatanejo, based on a very strong recommendation from the State Department whose job in part is to assess safety risks for U.S. travelers around the globe, then La Casa Que Canta should refund your deposit under those circumstances. That simple. Not disputing it's a pretty place or that some travelers go there without issue; however, many don't and with sometimes extreme repercussions.
