It is a beauty plece, but is especial because they organize a departures to the isla del Rey. Isla del Rey is a nice attractive from San Blas, this island is a sacred place for the Wixarika culture because in there finish "la ruta del peyote" and they do some rituals and give animals blood to the Diosa Aramara (sea)....

We arrived San Blas late on a Sunday afternoon. We hadn't yet found a hotel room but it wasn't long before we spotted Posado del Rey. It's located a short distance away from the town center in a rather run down area. The hotel itself stands out because it is so well kept. We were greeted warmly by the lady...

The room was clean, but the a/c was very loud, pool was a little cool for our liking. communal kitchen for coffee and snacks. Staff was pleasant, no internet in the room, only in the lobby. The hotel was located 1 block from the ocean

Reserved a room for three people, but could not have accommodated with any comfort. Two beds for two adults was almost overwhelming the room and bathroom. The courtyard with small pool and rocking chairs outside made the room easier to handle. Bath extremely small @ 5' x 7' with a shower no tub. Pedestal sink left little room for toiletries....

It's slightly out of the town centre and as I approached it along a bumpy unpaved street, I wondered if it might be a bit rough. On the contrary: it was a welcoming arrival after a long journey and the staff were nice. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and there was a refreshing pool in the patio. Despite...

This is a nicely set out hotel with clean rooms and a roof terrace. The staff were helpful and you could purchase cold beers on site. We visited San Blas for surfing but must have been there too early in the season as there were no waves and the town was very quiet.

This little modest Mexican hotel is well located in San Blas just a short walk to the main square. The rooms were spotless, bathrooms recently renovated, linens in great shape. There are lots of chairs, rocking chairs and tables to lounge in the pretty courtyard. The pool was unheated but very clean. There is a nice rooftop - perfect for...

We are in Paradise. Posada del Rey is located in a quiet neighborhood with cobblestone streets and whitewashed houses. The room is spotless, as are the grounds. Our patio is filled with colorful flowers, the courtyard is shaded by a lovely flowering tree, and fragrant vines, and there is a sparkling pool. We are half a block from the Sea...

The main objective to go to San Blas was to participate in a world class birding experience. San Blas is the most species rich location north of Costa Rica. To keep costs in line, my friend and I wanted a reasonable hotel in a location walkable to markets and restaurants. Also we needed a quiet clean place from which to...

“Rooms on upper floors may have view of the water, all rooms overlook the pool and patio.”

“If you want your own private roof top area, ask for an upper room. There are two. One has three beds in it, which would work for a group traveling together and willing to share space to keep costs in line. Otherwise, the rooms around the pool area are very nice.”
