We have been saving for this trip for a while so i had a nerv 'cos the hotel is new, thenkfully it was a great experience, food great, rooms confi, clean areas but abobe all the people working they go abobe and beyond to assist you, highly recomended. P.D. That 'll be nice if the hotel has native krafters selling hand made stuff so we don't have to go all the way to downtown to buy a souveneer, and some ceramic painting for my kids, tanks!
We stayed at a lot of all inclusive and this one is by far our favorite. The entire staff is so incredibly sweet. The food is actually good! (Especially the pool food!) the entertainment staff do such a great job keeping everyone busy and entertained. Housekeeping serviced our room everyday cleaning and replenishing. Room service was tasty and quick! Every room has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The went above and beyond for the 4th of July celebrating the USA. We were really blown away at this place! We will be back! Great job Hilton- you all should be very proud of this place!
Good location . Great beach . Good staff for most part . Special call out to Edgar , Rafell who did all activities and were awesome. Their beach is great and safe . Good for kids. Only area where they lacked is they did not much options for vegetarian in their buffet and they should look into it . The restaurants did not much vegetarian option either but the chef made stuff for us out of menu so it worked out .
We had a wonderful time here and 3 of our favorite staff are Edgar Sami and Ronaldo and Nancy and we can’t forget Rafa because they made our day 100 times better the food was also great and I love the activities for example the catch the baby game my son got water dunked on his head and it was really fun
This was a fun vacation for us and the food was amazing and the beach and pool was really fun and the staff were super nice to us i really loved it there and it was a amazing place we will definitely come back next year
This hotel had the promise of a great adult experience and inclusive accommodations. Paid a little more for this experience when we arrived there were kids everywhere. There is an adult pool that isn't policed so kids hang at that pool and strangly order drinks from the swim up bar. The room service is pretty much obsolete if you can get someone to answer the phone (we got hung up on several times) it takes hours to get your order. Lines at all the open restaurants are at least a half hour long or more. The staff is not accommodating, if you want something like coffee in a large cup they will not allow it. You must make reservations at the nicer restaurants which are all great restaurants but still have children running around. The bars all close at 10:30 the whole hotel pretty much shuts down at this time, so assure you have stuff in your room if you want something to eat or drink after that time. The mini fridge is stocked daily but with a 2-3 beers and sodas. If you want anything else you have to bring it or order it before things close. There is one bar that doss stay open until 1am but it is small and has 1 bartender so everyone stuffed in there waiting in line for drinks is a little much. Rooms were not clean our iron had mold inside. Our sink in our bathroom leaked terribly the whole time. Tryng to get ahold of anyone in the hotel on the phone is impossible. The pools were nice but dirty. Assure you go early to save a chair or you will not be sitting by the pool/beach for the day. We would go at 9am and all the chairs by the pool and beach were claimed. PROS: The staff at the pools are all very attentive and assure you have everything you need. Having the ocean downstairs is nice. You have the option to have a beach day or pool day and both areas have service which is a great plus.…
On arrival we were astounded t the beautiful views from the lobby and room! Check-in was slow and bracelets were supposed to work as keys to the room; they did not which was a little annoying as we also had to carry room keys. The hotel was advertised as 'new'; however, the furniture clearly indicates that this hotel is not new. The couches in the lobby were stained; the furniture in the hotel room scratched up. I didn't appreciate that people put their belonging on the pool chairs by 7:00AM making it difficult at 9:00 to find chairs & umbrellas. Additionally, there aren't enough chairs for the amount of guests. The room could have been cleaned better; however, I understand that housekeeping is different in foreign countries. The reservation system for dinner reservations is antiquated and although I requested reservations days prior to our arrival, we never heard back and were unable to get into one of the restaurants. Seasalt is amazing! We also enjoyed La Luce and Maxal. Website indicated a Teens Club which my kids were looking forward to; there was no Teen Club which was disappointing as evening activities for the kids would have been appreciated. The staff could not have been any nicer!…
The location is worth a million dollars the staff is friendly only problem is that hotel is overbooked and staff can not keep up with the demand big lines at the buffet and can’t get reservations for the other restaurant because they are small and you are stuck with buffet room service is slow to respond because of the high volume of people and the same thing with pool and beach chairs and umbrellas by 9 am they are all gone and you will have to fight to get a seat on the pool or beach area There were stains on the bedding and we took a photo and showed it to the help desk and they promised to replace 2 nights pass by and same bedding is there I understand because of Covid we have to request room service and we did but they did not change bedding and we still have 2 nights to go with same stained bedding we had 4 days ago when we arrived…
Just got back from a week at the Hilton Vallarta. The Hotel was nice. My complaint is the cleaning. The pool feels dirty at times. Also my room was in need of a better cleaning. The floor was never swept well. There were dead bugs near the sink the entire stay. Also the food is ok. The Italian restaurant was really good and the chef at the Mexican restaurant prepared fish my husband had caught that day, special for us. It was fabulous! We appreciated them doing this for us. The staff works very hard to make you comfortable. I was annoyed that there was no quite time at the pool. Every night there were people partying, blasting their music and talking loudly over it until 2 in the morning. We called and complained to the front desk but they did nothing about it. The beach is public and there were lots of families there. For these last two reasons I probably won’t return.…
Upon arrival to Mexico there were long lines to get through customs, but it was expected. Another friend gave me the heads up to avoid the taxis and use Uber. Uber is not allowed to pick up on airport property so you have to go across the street, but it’s worth it in my opinion. The Uber ride was only $15, but would have been about $40 with an airport taxi, or $100 for an airport transfer company. The ride was longer than I expected. About 45 minutes. Some of it was cobble streets and almost all of it was narrow two lane roads so although it was only about 10 miles it took awhile. Traffic was thick but the driver knew his way around, got us some short cuts, and was extremely pleasant. There were no issues. The hotel was originally built in 2015 and was the Grand Fiesta Americana. It was taken over by Hilton, renovated, and reopened in August 2021. The hotel staff was very pleasant. Luggage was taken from the car and was delivered to the room. A welcome drink was offered in the main lobby before being taken to the Diamond lounge for check in. For those not staying on the premium floors check in would be in the main lobby. The lobby itself was massive and open air. Views looked straight out onto the beach and the welcome sound of waves coming onto the shore welcomed you. Everything was very clean and modern. There were very few check ins taking place upon arrival, but the following day was much busier. I’m sure this has been out there for awhile, but it was a first for me. While checking in I was given a bracelet with an RFID which was the room key. One of the most brilliant things I have seen on my recent travels. No more trying to keep up with a room key while going to the pool, ocean, or excursion. It’s right there on your wrist the entirety of the stay. The Diamond lounge was nice and offered a good breakfast (limited menu) plus made to order omelets. Best part about breakfast in the lounge was no crowds and the amazing ocean views. Later in the day the lounge offered a happy hour with premium liquors and some good appetizers available each day. One day offered some amazing ceviche. Some of the best I have ever had! One day was sliders and fries. Another day was sandwich fixings. They rotated it around to make sure guests did not get bored. Breakfast downstairs in the main areas of the hotel had expansive offerings plus a build your own mimosa/Bloody Mary bar. But the crowds were abundant with a few times that even had wait lines of about 10-15 minutes. Just like with most large resorts, there were several excursions being offered that you could book directly at the hotel. Some of them looked great and were reasonably priced for what they were, but this trip was all about staying at the resort, completely relaxing, and not leaving. The resort offered yoga, water aerobics, Spanish classes, Latin dance classes, and many other activities. I did not partake in any of these. They also had some good nightlife and events on property. There were five restaurants that required dinner reservations: Italian, Mexican, Steakhouse, Seafood and Asian. In my opinion the menus were limited at these restaurants, but the food was amazing at every turn. That is true for the resort as a whole. I was very impressed with the quality of the food everywhere on property. There were other restaurants that did not require reservations and were just as good, but had much more expansive menus or buffets which would work well for families trying to satisfy multiple picky pallets. It was not the same bland food I’ve come to expect from other all inclusives. The flavors were bold with bright colors and good portions. The Spa was nice, well priced, and very relaxing. It offered a sauna and hydrotherapy prior to the actual booked service. It was the best massage I have ever received. When we were done the masseuse told me I needed to get more massages because my back was very tight, in terrible shape, and had a lot of knots. Nothing I didn’t already know. June-September is the rainy season in Puerto Vallarta. It was overcast about 90% of the week, but only really rained one night. There were some very strong storms that rolled through and knocked out power to the resort for about 15 minutes. The beach was very smooth and well appointed with chairs and umbrellas. For a fee cabanas were available to be rented. After the storms there was some damage to the beach, but staff worked quickly to get it repaired and looking pristine again. I will say that for being newly renovated and opened about a year ago I was very disappointed in a few things. The pool area was missing tiles. There was some uneven walkway areas. In the room the rod for the blackout curtains were broken on both sides. So instead of using the rod to pull the curtain you had to grab the curtain itself and pull it. The metal table near the sitting area of the room had a lot of rust around the base making it look very aged. I agree, it’s trivial, but attention to detail matters. Although each floor said they had ice machines I only found one. Full disclosure, I only checked four floors and stopped looking once I found one. One floor did not have a machine. One was being used as a mop holder and one was just not operational. I probably could have called room service and had it delivered, but I was out and about. Overall the stay was awesome and I would return.…
