We include Hacienda San Angel in our weekly dining treat. The food/service/view are exceptional. We visited San Angel 6 times during March 2014 and each time it was the "best". This is the place for excellent Filet Mignon. Guest rooms and public areas are second to none. And. would stay if it were not for our own casa.

After our most special meal from our first trip to PV last February, we had to make a return trip here this year. The ambiance of this venue in an old hotel at the top of PV is an experience and that alone makes it worth dining here at least once. We were seated more towards the interior of the...

Hacienda San Angel is truly a beautiful place to stay. However the price is steep for Puerto Vallarta. If you want to be away from the culture and the warmth that is Puerto Vallarta then this is your place. The restaurant is a beautiful outdoor patio with a picturesque view of the bay and city lights at night. The mariachi...

A trusted friend in the boutique hotel business, a guy who knows Puerto Vallarta as well as anyone, gave this place his highest recommendation, so we booked a suite online. When the taxi driver came to a stop, I wondered whether he brought us to the right place. The street looked, well, ragged and gritty. Only a small swinging sign...

Sometimes great things can be hidden in plain sight. Hacienda San Angel is a Boutique Hotel located in Downtown Puerto Vallarta and is a hidden gem. With just 18 rooms, you hardly see another guest other than at dinner time. For that quiet get away or a romantic vacation, this is hard to beat. For someone who hardly speaks Spanish,...

The experience at the restaurant is amazing. Make sure to sit on the outer edge to get an astonishing view of Banderas Bay especially at sunset. The soups are delicious, the scallop appetizer was perfectly prepared. I enjoy the Filet Mignon medium rare and it is cook perfect every time. My wife swears by the Lamb, it is the best...

Hacienda San Angel is extraordinary: the interior design is old world Mexico, the restaurant is fine and the staff is very, very attentive. Located in Centro PV with only 20 rooms and on a quiet street. The traveler that would like the HSA: it's very private, great for walkers, explorers, beach goers, restaurant and shopping effecianados. Located on a quiet...

We decided long ago that, living in New York, we wanted a warm place to go in winter, and not shop constantly for the newest new place. We've just returned from Hacienda San Angel. They reminded us we have visited it for 8 years. It's sublime - a collection of houses unified into a whole over 14 or so years...

We thought the Cafe de Artise was great until we had dinner at Hacienda San Angel. The food was fabulous, along with the service and the spectacular views of the city!! I had the filet with the bone and it was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had. My husband had the short ribs and it fell...

Incredible view over Zona Romantical. The mariachi orchestra is worth the price! Food is well presented and the service is attentive. From the entrance to the dining room it is a feast for the senses. Number one on the list for a return visit. Make it a romantic night. Gerald and Charles Canada
