We have been here 12 times. This is the first time we have not been happy. Booked Superior and they changed the special menu to everything that is on the buffet. As well as housekeeping service has been awful. Here is a picture of the new menu. The staff, however, as usual, have been wonderful.

Too many young children/families in pool! Rooms were humid/clothes were damp/skin was clammy. Loud shows each night around the pool until past 10 p.m./quiet time is midnight. Will stay at Sunset next!

Hotel Pelícanos Club was an amazing place to stay at! Everything was included, drinks 🍹, food, and entertainment! Juan Chavez and Other staff were excellent servers and Raul Gudiño was the best entertainment instructor! Night shows, and yesterdays live music was the best way to end our stay here. Highly recommend this hotel!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!

We were at this hotel from April 6th to20th, 2022 All inclusive? DON’T ever stay here. We arrived to them having over booked the King size rooms so we ended up with a twin. As we were checking in I noticed it was a twin. I Asked about it and the front desk said it wasn’t. It was! We went back and asked for king size and was told that there nothing available, check the next day. The first room (twin) had a view of the bar , a roof with dirty underwear on it and a flower box with cigarette butts. We asked to have $40.00 changed to peso’s, they couldn’t. Went back in the morning , they said to come back at noon with everything packed. We had plans that day so couldn’t do that until the next day. We packed our suit cases, put them in storage and didn’t get a new room until late in the day. None of the rooms were well maintained. The second room was better with a king size bed, that we slept on upside down because that’s the way it tilted. The king bed had three tiny pillows. We ended up using towels to make the pillows bigger. When we changed rooms the front desk staff started to retaliate. The next day I got a few treats and a note they would make it better. Offering a new room with a porch. We packed up and put our luggage in storage once again, didn’t get our new room until the end of the day. It was the worst room of all. A kitchenette with no fridge and a none of the appliances worked. The room smelt like mold , bathroom door was falling off , the room was disgusting. Because the front desk was so rude and WestJet did nothing to help we just stayed to ourselves. We had our room cleaned only once in the last 4 days, front desk didn’t care. We stayed away from the hotel as much as possible and those were our best times. The staff at the pool and the restaurant were great! The food pretty much the same everyday for 14 days, and very average. We tried often for special dinning but it was always booked, even though we went to sign up right at 11:00 am like we were told. We ate out a lot . Every day there were 100’s of children at the pool , both pools. I’ve travelled a lot in a 40 year sales career but have never experienced anything like this place. You should spend a little more or find a different hotel, DON’T stay here. WestJet should have better standards and better follow up when things aren’t good. Half a star!…

Our first room did not have a locking slider, had a remote control leaking battery acid, had a light fixture that was not attached and also the bathroom door knob was barley hanging on as well. We stayed here twice but over 10 years ago and nothing has been upgraded since. We had to get a little assertive to get into a room that did lock and while an upgrade, still terrible as far as maintenance was concerned. We asked to visit with a manager and despite being told that they would that never happened either. The folks were mostly pleasant, well except the manager of the buffet area who told me that my iphone had the wrong time and refused to let us or the people behind us in for lunch at about 5 past 1 which is when lunch starts, 1PM. On that topic, reservations for the restaurant open at 11AM and are generally booked full soon thereafter, so if you go out on an excursion, or into town you can forget about it. We did not get a single meal there in 8 nights. We have booked with Apple/AMCAR about 10 times and seriously considered no longer doing business with them except that their rep in PV was a strong advocate to us and would have moved us to a different hotel if we'd required it. Told Apple this should not be in their selection list. Had a nice time in PV, despite this very substandard resort. Oh, last thing, the fitness center is at a different location - so they do not have a fitness center.…

We very much enjoyed our stay at Plaza Pelicanos. Sign in quick easy and welcoming. Our room on third floor was clean and served our purpose. We didn't have a balcony and next time i'd ask for one. Also rooms don't have a fridge but we got a cooler from Playa Grocery up the street and it came with a super cooling beach bag for 120 Pesos. The staff were fantastic in every area from cleaning, entertainment folks and guys who worked serving drinks at pools and beach. PP is not a 4.5 star and if you are looking for that you need to go to another place. We knew what we were getting into so it exceeded our expectations. We will be back !! Thank you PP !!

The staff at Pelicanos are incredible, so friendly, and will go the extra mile to ensure you're satisfied. Entertainment staff had my friend and I go out of our comfort zone and participate in beach volley ball, zumba, & water aquatics. Their energy is so contagious. I cant stress enough how safe I felt at this location and the area surrounding the resort. Theres so much to do and see all at walking distance. This resort is great for families as well as young adults wanting to let loose a bit. A variety great of foods, great drinks, great service & great people. I'm so sad my trip is over, I would highly recommend this resort - I know you would have an unforgettable time just as I did.

Myself and three friends chose this hotel because of affordability. We got more than we paid for. The reception was very nice. The bell boys, especially Jair, were extremely helpful. Quick and easy check in. The room is very basic, clean and the cleaning staff restocked toiletries and towels as needed. The buffet is too wonderful. I have been to large resorts where the food is too plentiful and too big. This buffet is perfect. Enough choice for even the fussy eater and enough selection to satisfy any appetite. The desserts and breads were too tempting! The entertainment and bar staff at the pool were wonderful. Friendly. Efficient. My glass was always as full as I wanted it to be, or not. The snack bar was great. Lots of condiments and great staff. My favourite part? If you like to be active to wear off some of those desserts, there was always an activity to participate in. Raul ran the aqua exercises. I loved each day. We also participated in water and beach volleyball. And we will never forget the laughs we had at the Black Jack table. Raul also took us kayaking. Great value. Food is good, remember folks we are not in a Michelin restaurant. Simple Mexican food. Room big and comfy. We are not much of pool people but seems lots of folks were having fun. We just finished 8 days stay in pelícanos beach club. Reception:😃 Easy and no issues Room:👋 We had the superior room, the room is very big and comfy bed with view to the pool Super clean and good AC.
