What a pleasant surprise. 5 star service for 3 star prices. All the workers were friendly and polished. Salvador was great as was the staff up at the rooftop pool. The salads on offer up at the rooftop pool were outstanding. In fact the only real downside to this hotel is the lack of a beach club. There should be a shuttle to its own beach club. Or at least a shuttle to one of the resorts south along the bay.

Cesar took the vision we saw and made it a reality. He was so calm and had patience with everything. Such a professional person, let me have my voice and made sure it was heard by all (he was my voice and vision). The staff was amazing (Abel, we love him, Jocelyn a joy of energy) Abel is the manager of the wait staff and he was so elegant and smooth in his presence, he was very uplifting and kind to our guests. We had the most FABULOUS time at the Grand Miramar. Spacious ocean-view rooms (floors 4 on up have best views, all are ocean-view), beautiful balconies with pretty floral accents. Good breakfast included, kind and helpful excursion advice (thanks Eric!), didn’t have time for spa services but will be coming back and taking advantage. It was super quiet in June; we practically had the pool(s) to ourselves every day. Sometimes had some rain in the afternoon or evening, but it didn’t dent our plans a bit. Always a 10-minute Uber or taxi to the beach, oceanfront, or Zona Romantica restaurants (Panchos Tacos!!!). Not all of the bars are open in summer, but it posed no issue and the food and drinks were great. This is an excellent value with stunning views, lovely accommodations, and kind staff. Absolutely lovely resort just a short taxi/Uber ride away from the main attractions in the romantic zone. The complimentary breakfasts are always delicious and the staff are incredibly kind and professional. Our room was on the 9th floor and had a clear view of the ocean so sunrises and sunsets were unreal. I personally loved the infinity pool and the swim up bar - always a must for a tropical vacation. I spent a lot of time lounging around the poolside with my kindle or taking a nap.

This is still one of our favorite resorts in PV, but we were disappointed with the reclining lounge chairs by the pool areas which some were weather beaten and fragile. We saw a few people get hurt as there chair collapsed. A member of our party tore an elbow tendon in which an ambulance was called to treat her. We saw that the brackets that hold the back ends of the chairs were worn and unstable. We mentioned and showed personel the damaged chairs to see they were not fixed and were still out where someone else could get hurt. We ask Grand Miramar please fix all chairs that need repairing or to be replaced.

First visit to Grand Miramar was July 2021. Had an amazing time and got engaged on the balcony with the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever experienced. We came back a year later with all our closest friends and family for our wedding. Our guests could not believe how breathtaking the views are and how amazing the hotel is. All the staff is so friendly and the hotel is spotless. Food is amazing. Cesar helped us plan our wedding and he was so great to work with. I had zero stress planning the wedding and the day went perfectly. Was the most magical wedding and would do absolutely nothing different. I don’t think many brides can say that. Highly recommend and this hotel and Puerto Vallarta will always hold a special place in my heart. Can’t wait to come back for an anniversary trip.

I can't say enough awesome things about our 3 night stay at the Grand Miramar. While it’s off the beach perched high on a hill in the "Beverly Hills" section of PV, the sweeping views, attentive service and high quality food provide an outstanding experience. The roof top pool and bar offer a commanding view of PV while you can enjoy a quiet dip in the pool while enjoying some of the great food on their menu. The hotel also offers two pools plus a massive hot tub on the lower level along with cabanas that provide comforting shade. Sampled the flank steak tacos - amazing blue corn tortilla with tender flank steak....do die for. The rib eye tacos were tasty as well. They offer a variety of dining plans; we chose the breakfast - a robust buffet of offerings including eggs/omelets to order. The service at all levels was professional and attentive...the bell staff is amazingly helpful! Highly recommend and will defiantly be back!…

From the cobbled drive meandering up the hill all the way through old growth palms and white structures with clay roofs it was magical. Almost like being in Greece. The view, the rooms, the breakfast buffet, the pools and flowers. Simply Bliss! The best part however was the out of the ordinary kind and caring staff. Alberto Alvarez went beyond the call of duty and rescued my expensive camera when I left it in a taxi! He was right on it and returned it safely to me. My hero! And Salvador always there to greet you and answer all your questions. The others were wonderful as well. You are not on the beach but the view is unmatched and the pools outstanding and everything so clean. It is only a $5 taxi down to the boardwalks. Don’t hesitate to book.

We stayed at Grand Miramar in Oct 2018. The Front desk Alex & concierge Alan were Fantastic!!! The room was clean, views Amazing. Roof top view to die for views!! And the Guacamole fresh!!!!! daily. Better than the Marriott!!! And I am an owner. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back. and leave all my worries behind. xoxo FLCHGO
