Stayed at Casa Anita Feb 2 to 9, 2008. We rented Anita 1. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! We opened the door and the smell of mold made you almost sick. The bed mattresses are black with mildu and each pillow was also black. I am not kidding either, black fussy mold that when you woke up...

Casa Anita. What a great place. We had not stayed at the Casa Anita since 2002. It has only gotten better and has lost non of its charm. This isone of the most unique accomodations in Puerto Vallarta. The staff is excelent. You feel like it is your own home. Bill, Annett and Sonja treat you like part of the...

This is a great place at a good price. Many cute apartment type accommodations. If you like to live like a local, shop and cook, etc. this is your place. Great view! The only drawback is the road in front, it's a very short walk along the road to get right down town and to the grocery store but one...

This is my 2nd time at Casa Anita. To me it is a home away from home. The staff is friendly; the weekly bbqs on the roof allow you to meet your neighbours; the owners are helpful. The view of the town and Banderas Bay is excellent. We could see the whales spouting in the harbour. The rooms /apartments are...

This is the most unusual place we've ever stayed at in PV! We stayed in Corona #6 in January 08. Our place had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, livingroom, & kitchen (stocked with everything you need). The kitchen was outside in a different room, next to outdoor dining table. We had a HUGE sundeck up the stairs with a built in...

Overall we had a great stay in Puerto Vallarta. Our initial impression of Casa Anita was less than favorable for several reasons however by the end of our stay we were pretty fond of the place. The negatives first: When we showed up there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and no water in the kitchen water cooler. Also,...

My wife and I, with another couple, spent from Boxing Day through the New Year in the penthouse at the Casa Anita. While there were a few issues at the beginning of our stay, they seemed to be ironed out by the half way mark. We had some problems early in our stay with plumbing - toilets not flushing quite...

We had a very good experience at Casa Anita. We traveled there with our 2 year old and stayed in one of the two bedroom suites which was essentially an apartment with living room, table, full kitchen and two bedrooms each with it's own bath. It was very spacious and fit our needs for space and having a place where...

While the climb up the hill was not tooo bad, we are walkers, the thing I found the worst is the small details. They moved us to three different rooms becuase we had booked a king bed and the room they had assingned to us for the 5 days didn't have a king. Every single room had light sockets empty,...

The views are great but the hotel is ON A VERY BUSY STREET and it is VERY loud. The locals call it the highway. I didn't want to spend any time in the room, because all you hear are the cars and trucks zooming by at 50mph. I had to wear earplugs at night so I could sleep -- not...
