I have stayed at Rosita about 8 times now. This is a very safe and comfortable middle of the road hotel . It's location at the North end of the Malecon is a great start to your daily walk, close to some major night clubs but far enough away to avoid noise pollution. Great view of the bay or mountains....

We stayed at the Rosita for 3 days and overall were happy with our stay a friend recommended this hotel the rooms are not fancy but adequate for our stay, big balcony on the beach, free wi-fi, plus full size fridge. Happy hour drinks at the pool are 2 for 1 (45pesos). The price of the hotel is also great...

Go for the ocean view room, otherwise the other rooms are not so nice. The breakfast were very bad here, so we decided not to eat here. The location is very good, just at the downtown but for half price you get better hotel with better conditions just a few minutes walk from here.

We stayed at the Rosita for 5 days and overall were happy with our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and until the weekend had the place pretty much to ourselves. The rooms ( we were in room 125) are not fancy but adequate for our stay, big balcony on the beach, free wi-fi, plus full size fridge which we...

We stayed here from September 3-7. I had a room for 2 nights on the second floor looking over the ocean. The lobby is great and very welcoming. The pool is clean, and has a great view from the pool area. Hotel staff was excellent and courteous and did not bother us at all or try to push anything on...

This hotel is right at the beginning of the Malecon. Best location in town. The staff are all very friendly and most have been there for years. Room rate includes a breakfast. The morning we were there it consisted of beans, scrambled eggs mixed with chorizo, coffee, juice and toast. They also have a breakfast buffet with more choices but...

Prefer romance area, that said this is a lovely well maintained older property. The pool area is in a nice part of the beach, situated on the Malecon which by foot connects the downtown to old town the walk that hugs the water and all one needs in easy walk. I have been greeted by those fresh off the airplane--one...

I have been staying at the Rosita at the beginning and end of my vacations in Puerto Vallarta for about 14 years now. The Rosita is a great place to stay and enjoy some real Mexican ambience. It is on the North end of the Malecon, so is close to everything happening in downtown and easy access via the Malecon...

My wife and have been to PV countless times, on one such occasion we decided to stay at the Rosita. We had an ocean view room with a breathtaking view, the sunsets are unbelievable. When you consider the age and historical significance of the Hotel Rosita it is a must stay destination. Restaurants, shopping and clubs are within walking distance.

If your traveling to Puerto Vallarta and are looking for a hotel that is NOT all inclusive, this is the one! The Rosita hotel is situated on the ocean, right where the malecon or (boardwalk) begins. The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you like to venture out in the evenings to take a stroll along the malecon. If your...
