We're at the Sea Garden every November, but this year the pool is the cleanest it's ever been thanks to new staff. Half of it is closed off during construction and the noise is sometimes loud, but there's another pool to use and the beach is there, also. The food at the restaurant is good and the service is terrific... More

Fun in the sun. We are enjoying our stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room could use a little updating and larger bathrooms. The photos are posted at request of gal who assisted with activities at the pool. Food is great but cheaper in town.

We just returned from a nice week at the Mayan Sea Garden in Mazatlán. Upon arrival, I was given the choice of a room with a garden view in the Mayan Palace or a room with an ocean view in the Mayan Sea Garden. I chose the ocean view room even though it was the older room yet still very... More

I am an owner with Mayan Palace, and have been to the Mayan Riviera, Nuevo Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta & Manzanilla, at least 18 times. Some stays are at an all inclusive, some with our time share. This was my first time to Mazatlan. I will not stay here again. We had a 2 bedroom, but the second bedroom is a... More

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent . Gardens, grounds and pools are very well kept. The lobby, restaurants and amenities have all been updated and renovated . The suites are dated however large , very clean and so nice to have a kitchen. It would of been more enjoyable if we were offered free wifi and... More

In April 2013 we got the newer 2 bd condo unit which is spacious and fabulous. No view but the front building where we checked in. This time February 2016 we got a 1 bd unit at the older building which needs upgrading. Small room but clean. We love the daily cleaning service. Everyting worked so we were satisfied with... More

The Sea Garden rooms were all smelly and moldy. Very old buildings. Very poor housekeeping. After a week of being there I still had to wash my feet every time I put my shoe on because they were black. If though they always had a mop and bucket of water I don't think they used it.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Garden. It was far from downtown with not much traffic. As indicated by other reviewers, the rooms are a bit dated but spotless. Everything worked so no complaints. Elizabeth, our maid left lovely flowers of tissue in the dining area and in the bathroom. The staff is very friendly. Everyone speaks when you... More

Lovely resort with very friendly staff. However, there's an older section that they reserve for the timeshare exchange customers. Literally, the elevator does not stop at your floor. Rooms are clean, but small and very dated with low ceilings and unmanageable A/C controls. Only a hotplate and a dorm room refrigerator. WiFi was costly and iffy in the room -... More

We booked a room at the Mayan Palace and upon check-in we were "upgraded" to a larger 2 bedroom suite in the Sea Garden. Although both "hotels" share the same common grounds, the Sea Garden building is much older and a little rough around the edges. It's also a shorter walk to the beach, pool, restaurants etc. Staff here was... More
