This was our first trip to Mazatlan and first time at an all-inclusive. Although I have nothing to compare it to, I can't imagine better service or a more beautiful resort anywhere. The staff were excellent and made sure everyone was well taken care of. Food and drinks were plentiful and of wide ranging variety. A short, free shuttle was...

We fell in love with the all inclusive concept years ago and have been at least 20 times to various locations in Mexico. Some are better than others, but that's the travelling experience. We won't be going back to this one! The location has some great points. The accommodations are nice, the landscaping and gardens are lovely and we thought...

I thought the El Cid Marina hotel was quiet, pretty, great location, very clean. I loved having two balconies. My only complaint was having to pay for wifi. The pools were fun and relaxing and had a lot of great activities. The beach was only a quick and short water taxi across Marina. The beach area was lovely and it...

My wife and I stayed at El Cid Marina over Christmas after a very busy year at work. It was the perfect place to unwind. The staff were amazing, always smiling, always helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. They always seemed to know exactly what we needed. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The resort...

We had excellent service by everyone including the front desk, restaurant and pool service waiters, excellent maid service by Olivia, and very friendly and courteous service by everyone!! The rooms were very clean and spacious! We had a beautiful view of the harbor and pool/jacuzzi. In addition, we had a back door that lead directly down to the pool and...

January 2, 2017 One of the pleasures of traveling is not to have to take care of maintenance… cleaning… cooking... If only to supervise services, at home you get involved in chores. Not having to deal with them is a joy. One can skip them by choosing wisely where to travel . Where else to go but to spend weeks...

Everyone is very friendly and willing to help or serve. We ask for a extra foam to make our bed softer each time we stay. We always get it that day. Room service and housekeeping are very efficient. The only improvement we could recommend is giving the bill for food quicker. Sometimes we want to leave and we have to...

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Would love to stay longer! The pool is so nice and warm. The place and rooms are so clean. The beds are the best. My only complaint is the breakfast line up at the egg station is a real mix up.

We are very thankful that a friend let us use their time share. El Cid is a resort comprised of four sites. We stay at the El Cid Marina which is beautiful. The other sites were a bit dated and much noisier. The highlight at the Marina were their two great pools. One was so big it had a cave...

Have stayed here a few times, and every time it's amazing. Plenty of food options, the service is outstanding, the main pool is warm, and they also have a hot tub and colder pool with some cool caves that cater to those who want to swim in some colder water. The rooms are amazing, comfy, clean, and a lot of...

“The sofa sleeper is extremely firm and very uncomfortable for adult family members. We were "upgraded" from a 1 bedroom at ElCid El Moro Beach to "an equivalent 1 bedroom" unit at El Cid Marina Beach hotel. Although the Marina Beach hotel is very nice, the rooms are not equivalent. The 1 bedroom unit at El Moro Beach has two double beds that are much better for adults as well as 2 full bathrooms. The Marina Beach 1 bedroom had a king size bed and only 1 bathroom. The 1 bedroom unit at El Moro Beach that we had originally booked would have worked out much better for 4 adults than the 1 bedroom unit at Marina Beach. Although the representative assured us that the rooms were equivalent at the resorts, be aware that they are very different. Marina Beach would be fine with small children, but not adults unless you prefer privacy over bed comfort. We did have a lot of little mites crawling around the room and on the kitchen table, but this may be normal for the area.”

“Rooms nearer to 332 - 342 etc are quieter as they minimize traffic noise by being being the old Faro resort. Nearer to the lobby can be a bit noisy at times but the resort is always planing trees to minimize this going forward.”
