Hotel Playa Mazatlan is our favorite hotel. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The staff always go above and beyond to serve us to include bringing our favorite drinks and food to us while we are lounging on the beach. One such employee is Roberto Kelly who made us feel

Stayed here for a girl’s trip. For a 3 star hotel their amenities are not bad. Sound proofing is not there at all as you can hear the loud music from the bar next door on weekends, and we could hear every door slam and people walking and talking outside our door early morning.

I am in love with everything about this place! I loved the ocean and the view it was all just so breath taking but when we (my family) sat down for dinner and saw the Lion King performance it was like I was being reminded of my childhood. The main dancer with the solo, his name

This is my 7th year here. This year I was extremely disappointed. I booked through hotels.com. Clearly it asks the age of the children on their website when booking. When I arrived at the hotel to check in they charged me $1000 extra because the kids were over 12. Totally not

How is the beach? Rocky? Seaweed? Clean clear blue water?
Hi the beach was very nice. Seaweed does not seem to be a problem on this side of Mexico (as opposed to the east side). Not rocky at all either. However in November the water was quite rough so most days we didn't go in very far but still really enjoyed it. If you like to boogie board and are a strong swimmer then you might like it. Have fun!

Is room service included in the all inclusive package?
I believe room service is extra. Also, some items (Pacifico beer for example) are extra; other beers etc are included. We didn't really feel like we were missing anything but I would have liked more Pacifico!

We went tto Mazatlan with some peco's we bought through our bank in the US. That is because my husband worries. The bestway to get peco's is through a ATM. They are available at the airport. Peco's are needed for the taxi's. Remember in the 'olden' days, US or Canadian money could be used in many places? That is not the case now.
