We come to casa lucila every December in mazatlan for the last 6 years and have gotten to know the owners and staff well. We have nothing but positive things to say. The service is 5 star. Arturo is a waiterpossibly bar manager who has been here many years and is the most kind and lovely man. The owners chris...

Trip advisor never has done me wrong- especially here. We were here for 2 nights the week before thanksgiving. Small boutique immaculate property with fantastic service. We loved Arturo in the bar. They went way beyond normal service. Food was great as well in the restaurant. We for sure will be coming back. Bathroom was huge in our suite. Views...

My wife and I just visited Mazatlan to run the half marathon and stayed for three nights at Casa Lucila. A small beautifully appointed hotel, more like a B&B but with all the perks. First off we had excellent service by everyone. A young and vibrant staff and the personal attention of the owners made the stay memorable. Breakfast was...

Dearest Alfredo, We want to say THANK YOU for leaving us such an incredible review. We enjoyed having you stay with us as much as you enjoyed staying at Casa Lucila. We recently added the botes de panes to our breakfast menu so we are delighted that you enjoyed them! Please come back soon as we look forward to seeing...

Casa Lucila was an enchanting, first-rate experience, located just above the seawall of the historic center of Mazatlan. It was much to be preferred over the newly developed "El Dorado" section of the city, in that the historic center could boast numerous excellent restaurants, safe walks, an historic opera house, and interesting bars. The Casa Lucila itself had a friendly...

Dearest Richard, We have many thanks to send your way! We too think the Historic Center has many more things to offer over the Zona Dorada section of Mazatlan. We hope you enjoyed yourself enough to come back again and again to your (hopefully one day!) second home, in Mazatlan. To many more memorable experiences, Sophia Hotel Manager

This is one of the finest run hotels I've ever known. I've stayed there now nearly a total of 3 weeks while working in Mazatlán……… and was reluctant to leave once my time was up. The owners, who built the hotel, are intimately involved in the daily function of this exquisite boutique. The staff is courteous, kind, and capable; food...

This is absolutely the place to stay in Mazatlan! You could not get a better location--it's in the historic center and on the most beautiful and happening beach! Sitting by their infinity pool, looking out to the islands, the sweeping beach of olas altas, watching the surfers, and drinking cervezas micheladas was heaven! We ended our afternoon with a fabulous...

This place is incredible. First off it's away from all of the tourists so you get to mingle with all the locals. As you drive up to the property it is very nicely painted and clean. Its ok not to have access to the beach, but what really bothered me was that the sweamming pool was freezing because it doesn't have a heater. So if you are are here for the sun, beach and sun, Casa Lucila won't definitely be it.
