Just finishing a two week stay. It's been wonderful. So beautiful and relaxing. Right on the beach in the fantastic quintessentialy Mexican town of Manzanillo. This is my favorite city in Mexico. I have always (and still do) felt safe and secure here. Many times I have walked alone at night to nearby restaurants and markets without any qualms.

The hotel is much far from downtown. You won't get Cab easily. On Sunday you won't even get food easily. Only Oxxo is there. If you are okay with street food, you can survive here. Hotel owner nature is very good and hotel is much cheaper than other hotels in the area.

We found our latest vacation destination on The Guardian’s 2015 list of the top budget beach hotels on Mexico’s Pacific coast and were not disappointed. The bright pink, quirky cool Hotel La Posada sits at the southern end of Playa Las Brisas in Manzanillo, near the navy base and a rock jetty, where locals fish. Its 23 rooms on two...

Just finished my semi annual visit to this property. If you want a relaxing environment and a hassle free atmosphere, this is the place. Yes it is dated, but rooms are clean and all staff is very responsive. The beach is literally just a few steps, and the beach is hassle free from peddlers. The American style breakfast is made...

I've been staying in this hotel with my parents since I was a few months old, now at 25 yo, I can say that this hotel is not what it used to be. The most recent owner Juan Carlos (has been on this administration for about 7 years I believe), have made so many changes to the original concept but...

Juan and his staff made our visit a wonderful and restful experience. The breezeway was wonderful. Our "suite" room was awesome with a large bed and great ocean view. Breakfast was American-style and yummy. The pool is well-cared for. Beach was clean behind the hotel. The beach surf was a bit strong when we went there, so keep that in...

There is not the constant drumming of TVs going in the background. No TVs here.! There ARE board games and plenty of shade to enjoy a good book by the pool. Also there are beach chairs and umbrellas in front of the hotel beach to be used by guests. They also have a masseuse that comes by and gives great...

La Posada is almost the last hotel on the southern beach at Manzanillo in a neighborhood called Las Brisas. The owner's name is Juan and he is there almost all the time. He speaks great English. He's the one taking orders and serving breakfast. He's very involved and responsive. He helped us pick good places to eat and helped us...

I have stayed here several times and keep returning because the price is good and it is right on the beach. Juan, the owner, is there daily to provide any services you might need. This time, I requested that he set up a deep-sea fishing trip for me and my 2 friends. He did a great job as the boat...
