Just returned from 10 days at Las Brisas Huatulco. As you will see in many reviews, this resort has a lot of stairs. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, clean and spacious.

My wife and I decided to come to Huatulco because we had heard it was safe and beautiful. The resort is very nice and well maintained, but you can see the age in some spots. Our room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels.

As far as I know Secrets is in a higher class of resort with a different price tag (At the end you get what you pay). Still you won't be disappointed be at Las Brisas very nice resort with nice gardens and architecture. I stayed there and enjoyed.my room was nice and had a balcony with ocean view. As far as I remember there was sun on the beach most of the day. One thing to consider instead of one whole big building Las Brisas is built with several room buildings scattered throughout the hill and the front desk downhill. They have a free shuttle service that will take you from front desk to your room and back (golf cars) but you have to call and wait or stand in line. If as me you have little patience prepare your self to do A LOT of hiking uphill.
