Elcano is a amazing hotel with big, clean rooms with beautiful view for ocean. Every room have this kind of view. Pethouse rooms have jacuzzi on balcoon.

You are paying a fraction of the cost compared to any other city outside of Acapulco. I've been there several times and never seen any problems. As long as you stay in the tourist area you will be fine and you will be greeted by friendly people everywhere.
