We just got back from our first trip to Acapulco. We booked the Private Pool Casita at Las Brisas (I do not recommend the shared casita as these are rooms closer to the road-which, as other reviewers have said, can get noisy). The private pool casita did not cost much more and was well worth it. Our private pool was...

This resort is top notch. Rooms are fabulous!!! Great views...Love the private beach...Very Romantic We saved money by renting one of the hotels jeeps for 80 dollars a day. We made our own city tours and met a local named Marco who was going to school to be a tour guide. We paid him 10 or 15 us dollars to...

Las Brisas is an incredible gem. My husband and I have stayed there 8 times and we've always been able to get the same junior suite everytime. The staff and the service is incomparable, as is the experience! The room service is faster than I've had in most hotels. If you want a busy/active place, this is not it. This...

Just returned from a 6 day stay at Las Brisas with my huisband. Although this is a novel hotel with a good reputation amongst the locals, it lacks the amenities and charm that you might expect of a hotel at this price point. Your perception of the hotel will be significantly influenced by which room you stay in. Our first...

Just returned from a highly anticipated trip to Las Brisas over New Years, and wanted to share a few things for others considering travelling to the hotel: THE BAD 1) We stayed in the 200 level rooms (the 240-251 block) and they are unsleepably NOISY. We were woken up and kept up for 2 straight nights by the traffic noise...

Went to Las Brisas for our Honeymoon at the end of Oct beginning of Nov. What a great time we had! We reserved a club level room with a private pool and it was great. We really never needed to leave the resort. Our jeep driver Crecencio was extremely helpful and attentive. We were picked up and carted all over...

We had a room with a private pool. We received breakfast every morning. However, I asked for additional things at checking time and they kept forgetting to bring it for 4 days out of our 7 day stay. It was not a big deal, but I had to call the front desk and wait at least 10 minutes for someone...

My wife and I stayed at Las Brisas for five nights at the beginning of November 2005. Although the room furniture was shabby (the couch had stains), the hotel was charming and the view from our deck breathtaking. The problem: on the second evening of our stay, the maid threw away my Invisalign orthodontic appliance, which I had left on...

Went on last minute business travel. Las Brisas is a very different experience as is Acapulco. This city has a population of over 2 million. Polution is very thick. The only problem I had were the jeeps that transport you up and down the hills of the hotel. I just felt exhaust of these jeeps effected the ambience. I could...
