This is a historic boutique hotel that has been remodeled to perfection. The room's are small because of the age of the building but its Comfortable. The restaurant downstairs is amazing and no need to drive or Uber. Since its centrally located and Uber eats is available with many choices. No elevator but the bell staff happily bring your luggage to your room. They also have a mini store with water and drinks also hygiene items. During my childhood 40 years ago we would stay here. In amazed at the improvements I highly recommend if you are looking for nice hotel on Revolution. Staffed 24 hours making it extremely safe
I stayed for the first time on Saturday at the hotel, we are frequent guests to the restaurant Caesar's however very disappointed about the hotel. We checked in late on Saturday, front desk person very rude. Middle of the night could hear the air conditioning making noise and it had we the floor, my husband slipped and almost had a bad fall when going to the bathroom. Next morning found bed bugs, took pictures of everything, showed to the clerks at front desk and they didn't care. Gave me a wrong email and name for the manager. I never got a response of course so I resent an email to the address on the website to management, no response. Location is the only thing about the hotel but I would not risk it anytime to get contaminated by bed bugs!!!
I enjoy staying at this hotel because of its location, but that’s about the only positive thing. The lobby sure looks beautiful, but don’t expect 5 star service or a comfortable night sleep. I have always woken up to housekeeping playing loud music in the hallways and Valet being so slow. WiFi is decent but bed is hard and no elevator kinda sucks when you have heavy luggage. Bathroom also kinda smells
We stayed at Caesar’s for a night on our first visit to Tijuana and found it to be a great choice. The hotel is charming and full of history, and the rooms are nice, excellent value for the very reasonable price, notwithstanding the slightly nonchalant service. The restaurant - famous for its Caesar salad, which really is outstanding - is elegant and traditional with a fabulous ambience.
I hate to criticize anything but that will hopefully get attention to some problems esp in the Hotel business. I have been coming here for yrs. The management has really improved on quite a few things that needed attention that I have mentioned in my other posts. I used to get a nice room for $35 and now for a decent room, it's $55. This is not a 55$ room but then again you're on Revolution Street and next to a fine restaurant/bar and what hasn't gone up in price. the Managers have updated most all of the complaints that I have had for the last few yrs; more electrical outlets, one remote for the TV, hand towels, some amenities, a locking safe in the closet. carpeting upgraded throughout the Hotel, paint, nice banisters and wow, nightstand lamps but only one next to my bed but too bad the on/off switch has to be on the cord. A real upgrade is the A/C. wall mounted with remote, nice. I think they need to replace the outlets in the bathroom with the safety ones. The lobby is very nice, great marble, good colors and nice furniture. The old key system was done away with and replaced with electronic cards. They have a delivery from the nice Bistro Praga. With my cell phone, I don't need the room phone unless calls come in and still haven't bothered to figure out the system. maybe because when I see a telephone pole with 10,000 wires attached that could be the problem. All in all Caesars' is very nice and it keeps improving. the last thing I have a peeve about are some of the desk clecks. they all dress nice and some don't know English and that is lost income esp. if they don't know where a good prime rib can be had in this city. many excellent restaurants around here but the kid had no clue. oh, the place is very clean. ok, until next time.....adios…
