Rooms are beautiful BUT the staff is coarse and hostile. Also they will charge for everything and they are misleading in the pictures of what they might offer as breakfasts and the true meal. I always stay in the Westin hotels so I don’t mind paying for GOOD service but this hotel does not have that. They still have much to learn of hospitality and service. I will not be coming back and next time I will choose a reputable known hotel that is tied to good standards.
My girlfriend had surgery at a nearby hospital (a block away) we stayed here as art of her surgery package. There were a lot of other patients here as well. You would think that a hotel that has a contract with the hospital that are mostly Canadian and American patients would have TV in English. Now, tv is usually not a big deal but considering after surgery most in recovery are expected to rest. With only 1 English station playing old episodes of 'Criminal Minds' and old movies 'Men in Black' 'Baywatch' it was extremely frustrating. Was told 20 minutes for the room to be ready but it took 90 minutes. Just be honest people, if it's going to take 90 minutes, then say so. There were over 10 of us checking in and waiting in the lounge right in front of the desk but no one from the desk (who could see us clearly) offered us an update as to what was going on. Again, most were surgery patients and just needed to lay down, however an entire football team was checked in before us. Not cool. Location is good, felt very safe. A lovely Mexican restaurant across the street with good prices and good food.…
Positives: Good location in the Zona Rio area. The hotel felt safe and secure. The front desk are very friendly and speak good English. The other staff I had interactions with were also very friendly (cleaning staff, staff that deliver room service) The room service food is good and punctual. Negatives: The rooms are slightly modern, yet outdated. Rooms are lacking some basic amenities such as a fridge, coffee and desk space. The pillows are very uncomfortable and too large to properly sleep on, I had to make pillows out of towels. The beds are comfortable though. No outlets by the beds, the only outlets are on the opposite side of the room by the TV. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the TV from the adjoining room as if the TV in your room is on. Also, the doors are not sound proof, you can hear everything right outside your door. The hotel was undergoing construction which created a lot of noise throughout the day. The hotel should be cheaper for what it is, it should be around $50 instead of $70; therefore, I can't say the hotel is a great value. The hotel is undergoing renovations so perhaps it will be nicer once the renovations are complete and represent better value.…
I stayed overnight in May and it was a generic experience. The location is close to my fertility clinic so I decided to book again today. We accidentally put the wrong dates on expedia. The hotel refused to change the dates when expedia asked them TWICE. I then called the hotel directly and they refused to change the dates. No compassion to the fact that we do not live in Mexico and it was an honest mistake. DO NOT STAY HERE, Room is noisy, AC doesn't work when u leave and no fridge/microwave. Food at restaurant was bland. The guy we talked to today literally didn't care!
I pick up with Eric and I want to home and we want to hotel and I eat food and soda and I get to room and I sleeping in the mom room and her bathroom I want to bathroom and her dad and I am not sure why
