I stayed one night in Tijuana over the Memorial day weekend. I wanted something close to Plaza Rio. (This hotel is 2 blocks away from it). Did not want to splurge on a hotel. I just wanted something clean and economical. The front desk was great. Parking is included in the price and secured in an adjacent building. There are 7 floors. We were located on the sixth floor. The view wasn't all that, but I wasn't expecting beautiful scenery. Nothing extraordinary about the rooms but again I wanted something economical, so expectations were not high. The rooms were clean. Have a flat-screen tv with Spanish cable. They have some outlets with USB cable slots for charging devices. 2 free water bottles, as well as soap, shampoo, and body lotion. The water from the shower was warm/hot. (I usually don't comment on that, but I saw some reviews where others complained, so I thought I would add it.) Also had a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board (we did not use any of them). The room had double shades, so the room was nice and dark. Free wifi worked great for internet surfing. (I did not watch movies, so no comment on that). A small complaint I have was that the people in the room above us on the 7th floor seemed to be having some sort of loud conversation because I could hear the muffled sounds in my room at 1 in the morning. Maybe it was just me, because my wife who usually is more sensitive to sound did not hear it, nor my parents who were in the adjacent room. Breakfast in the morning was really good. (Chilaquiles, nopalitos con papas (cactus with potatoes), scrambled eggs in red sauce and beans. Offered cereal, fresh juices (orange and green juice), several pastries (donuts. danishes), coffee, and yogurt. Overall very happy with the experience. Would definitely consider coming back.…
The rooms were very clean and the location is great, employees are kind and helpful, parking is secured, the price was awesome, we couldn’t find a better place to stay, comfortable and affordable, and overall secure
Very clean and modern hotel. Good location just a few minutes from the border with uber for $2.50. You need a taxi or uber to get to the tourist zone for about 2.50 to 5 dollars. We went to rosarito in the shuttle vans that leave from Calle 3 at a cost of 22.5 pesos each way. Hotel has safe deposit boxes at the front desk and you get 2 complimentary water bottles a day. Very good value.
The bed sheets were dirty with roaches’ legs and some kind of green paint. We were offered another room but moments later we were told that they were full so they just changed the sheets and we had to stay in the dirty room.
Nicolas from reception was very polite and professional. He even helped us to look for the place that we were going to. the room was very clean and beds very comfortable. Love getting free breakfast. excellent
