It was my first trip to San Felipe and I was pleasantly surprised. You travel to a third world country and if you expect a Hyatt Regency, sorry not in this town, thank goodness. Visitors travel to San Felipe primarily for off-roading, so the town and the hotels fit this activity perfectly. I have stayed at a Hyatt Regency in...

This is a large outdated Hotel on the Beach. The only thing that Would help this property is the wrecking ball. The good: nice big pool which is well maintained but with not one pool lounge that is operational, the location however is perfect right on the beach next to the Malecon. The shower is clean and has plenty of water and...

Very basic hotel in the heart of San Felipe at the Southern end of the Malecon. The room was large, but basic, the bathroom clean, the carpet not so much. No water in the hotel pool. Hotel restaurant shuttered. But it is all about location and that is where this hotel shines.

The night before we found this place we stayed at a place down the street. It was old and dated and when we got up in the morning our car was littered with empty beer cans around it and a small amount of damage to our car. So we moved here. Yes the place needs a remodel but it's on...

If I could give them less than one star I would. When we first entered the room it had a very putrid kind of smell. Desperately needs updating and cleaning. I will not stay here again for my next visit.

Well, when you walk into a room and see popcorn on the ceiling and an old non flat TV - it's an easy target to write a negative review. But we actually had great stay there. Let me add a bit more details so you can set your mind. Ok, so one by one. Location - it's really great. It's...

Having stayed in Mexican hotels before I was not expecting the height of luxury. What I found was a sadly aging with a good location and view for some. Sadly that did not include me and my wife. Because there are no elevators in the hotel (and the rooms with a view of the Sea of Cortez are on the...

Placement of the hotel is great as it is located at the South end of downtown and 200 feet to shore. Arriving at San Felipe with no reservations led me here. There were a few nicer hotels nearby at comparable prices but alas all were completely booked. The sheets were clean, the balcony had a nice view, and the water...
