At about $50/night for an oceanside room, this was our pick on a road trip north to poise us right south of the Tijuana San Ysidro Border. We booked it via hotels.com 24 hours before our arrival. The staff is courteous but very slow and unempowered, the rooms are Very basic, and there are no washcloths, soap for shower, coffee...

Not a very good experience. OK staff but the room and the food needs improvement. My kids couldn't eat anything because of the smell and ugly look of the food. Will not stay there again. Mosquitos and hot room are a big issue at night...

Just stayed in this hotel Aug 28 & 29, 2016. First of all, there are many great things about this hotel. The location, view, the brand new bar/lounge overlooking the beach, the beach is awesome and the staff (especially the waiter at the beach bar) are exceptional! Now for the downside. Our room was old - we were okay with...

first of all the hotel is nothing like the pictures, I booked this hotel for my cousin and his family, as soon as they checked in they called me and told me how dirty this place was, the pillow cases were dirty, they found hairs on the bed, also found clothes in the closet, the mattresses had bed bugs, I...

We, family of four, stayed here for a night -- they gave us a room in one of the detached buildings from the resort -- with "partial" views. The entrance to the room looks like a motel and the door was so flimsy, anyone could very easily break in. The towels were supremely dirty and the water had such a...

This hotel is very close to the beach and you can hear the waves at night but the rooms need to be remodeled. You can hear the people upstairs and anyone that is talking outside the room sounds like they are in your room. The parking is awful doesn't feel secure to leave your car there and the entrance is...

I've been coming to this place for years. Originally it was a small hotel with a cute little bar. Old style Mexican, quaint, clean and great service. In later years they added a restaurant which in the beginning was pretty good but since then not so good. In the past two years they added this huge event venue which I...

rented a car in SF and drove down to San-D. With out budget we discovered it was cheaper to go stay in Mexico during this time in a beautiful hotel then a hostel in San-D. Staff friendly, helpful, except the front desk boy didnt speak good english and was confused on why we were there, they had a hard time...
