The resort is in a secluded location close to the beach, beautiful views and perfect for quiet walks on the beach. The fishing trip that the ranch arranged for us (two adults and 3 teen boys) was great - the captain and mate were accommodating, made sure the boys caught lots of fish, which were prepared perfectly by the kitchen...

We just spent 14 days at Rancho Leonero and we had an incredible time. The resort the people and the location could not have been any better. We rented a quad from Quad man and spent our days going between Los Barilles and La Riberia enjoying the beautiful beach and fishing from the beach. We were able to see turtles nesting...

Beautiful location in a semi remote area outside of Los Barriles. The views are amazing and you could spend hours on the patio watching the whales migrate south. The grounds and buildings are well kept and there are miles of shoreline to walk, fish or ride your four wheeler. Down the beach are various fresh water estuaries that are worth...

This was our first and definitely not the last visit to the ranch. We planned a year in advance with high expectations and although we were met with small disappointments, overall, we had an amazing stay. We were there the 1st week they opened their season and were not quite as prepared for what we reserved in advance. We have...

5 day stay around 3 days of fishing. Great location and property. However, only one of the 3 panga captains was worth being on the water with, and one shouldn't have to pay for 2 other days to figure out who not to fish with the next time. Fish storage was also a problem as they were sending off-site and...

Right on the ocean, great views. Casual property. Access to plenty of beach walking, great service, relaxed and fishing boats are right there in front of the property. Easy and fun for a relaxing family fishing trip to a nice small town that's not Cabo.

Beautiful secluded grounds away from the hustle and bustle of Los Barriles. Excellent service and great cabanas. Love the bar and the bartender Joel. The hotel itself is much better than staying at Buena Vista or Palmas De Cortez. The beautiful property, unobstructed views, quite secluded location, and great reef for snorkling/fishing right in front of the place make it...

Our family just returned from our vacation to the Ranch! My husband and adult sons have been so excited about this trip since we planned it about 5 months ago and it truly exceeded all our expectations. When we arrived at SJD Airport we were greeted warmly by our resort arranged tacit driver, Jorge. Jorge loaded us all in a...

Lovely, rustic little sanctuary. The hotel suggested and booked our fishing and diving experiences, and I must say they were spot on. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and accommodating, the vistas stunning, the rooms spotless and commodious. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Went for a fishing trip in June for a friends birthday. We were there during a 'slow week' but people we're catching some combination of tuna, marlin, wahoo, rooster fish, and dorado every day. Someone had caught a cow (200+ plus) Yellowfin the week before we got there. You can rent a panga or pay extra for one of the...
