What an amazing place. Location, rooms, Deborah, Murphy the cat.....the list goes on. Steps away from great dining, a couple blocks to the beach. Homey, welcoming, relaxing...simply great. Will return, most likely again and again.

Owner Deborah keeps a wonderful inn that is fresh and restful. We had a quiet stay and were able to get the rest we needed. You can walk 5 minutes to the sea shore or through town, which we did. We definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Baja. Deborah recommended local restaurants that suited our needs. Thank you!

This was our second visit to La Damiana and we will definitely come back. It is such a comfortable, homey property and Deborah and Gerardo are wonderful hosts. We really like having the opportunity to prepare some of our meals in the communal kitchen. It's a great way to meet fellow travellers. The garden is peaceful and comfortable; a perfect...

Charming inn, in the center of town. 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, grocery store, shops and malecon. Delightful innkeepers. rooms charming, garden oasis in middle of inn, with beautiful doves and bright yellow oriels. Community kitchen in the garden-fully equipped. Good beds, fresh drinking water provided. Books to enjoy, maps and guidance from innkeepers.

If this is your first visit to Loreto, then be sure to stay at La Damiana Inn. Deborah and Gerardo were just wonderful and so much help. We felt like we were staying with family and not a hotel. Gerardo and Deborah were just so helpful with advice on trips, hikes, the area and places to eat. The kitchen area...

I really hate to write anything bad about this place because Debora and Gerardo are such amazing, friendly hosts. They gave us so much great advice, helped us book a fantastic blue whale tour, and were generally really interesting people and great to talk to. In general it is a very friendly place, with the atmosphere of a hostel. People...

This is a small inn near the plaza. Location is close to restaurants, shopping, grocery and the Sea of Cortez. We were able to walk everywhere. Debra and Gerardo, who run the inn are wonderful. There were some events in the plaza during several nights of our stay which had loud music into the wee hours. It did not bother...

We had a spacious room with two double beds and a single. Old-world design, home-like quarters. Walking distance to the center of town and male con. The hosts, Gerardo and Deborah, are very welcoming, helpful and gracious. The garden is lovely. And, they let you use the kitchen in case you wish to cook. Gerardo gave us recommendations for restaurants...

We happened upon this place by chance, after looking for a room in the other hotels of Loreto, which turned out to be quite busy. La Damiana Inn is a beautiful and colourful place (2 minutes from the central plaza), full of wonderful furniture, curiosities, coloured rugs and paintings. There is a communal area with sofas, chairs, books, games.... and...

Stayed on the way down to Los Cabos and on the way back - one night each way. We would not have stayed coming north but had to cancel so far in advance that we missed the date. Anyway, 1st room was small but quiet. 2nd room was dark and noisy. There is an open courtyard and kitchen area complete...
