Service excellent. Food very good. Specialty restaurant wonderful. Rooms a little sparse, as are halls -- could use some Mexican touches -- artwork, fabrics, etc. Main problem - poor beach. You have to walk out about a mile for water to reach your waist. Beach itself has nice sand until you want to go in the water -- then small...

This is a wonderful resort that is expanding to accomodate what will be many more vacationers. Amazingly, the resort was at 90% capacity, but did not feel crowded. Unlike similar resorts, there was no competition for the best lounge chair, and no need to "go for a 6am beach jog" to claim a spot for the day. The staff was...

Villa del Palmar does have beautiful resorts, and this is yet another. Just spent a week here and I would come back. I was looking for a peaceful vacation, but when I arrived I thought it might be just a little too peaceful. I was wrong. This location grew on me with each passing day. Food and Service was fantastic....

Villa del Palmar in Loreto is the perfect Mexico getaway if you only have limited vacation days! MUST DO all inclusive - really is worth it, and you'll end up spending way more if you do not! Couple items to point out: 1. No need to rent a car (takes so long at the airport!) or pre-book the shuttle for...

This beautiful resort tucked away from the hustle and bustle of "life" is a vacationers dream for the 50+ age group. 8 of us from BC relaxed for 10 sun-filled days. We enjoyed the fabulous pool plus mini-putt golf, whale watching, beach barbecue, paddle boarding, kayaking and the mini disco! The only disappointment was the fishing trip that didn't happen...

It was our first time to this resort. We worried we wouldn't have enough to do but ended up only taking the shuttle ($5 US pp each way) into the town of Loreto once in 12 days! We kayaked near wild dolphins, tried stand-up paddle boarding and biking, and enjoyed pool time, the evening entertainment and Casa Mia Restaurant. We...

Our 5th time back. Great welcome and all you need to do is ask. They bend over backwards to make your stay the best ever. Ideal vacation place for people who want to get away from it all. An ECO friendly resort in a natural setting with great hiking trails. Golfers paradise.
